Variants of the New Hyundai i20
The new i20 is available in four different variants: Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta (O). The car shown here is the Sportz variant.
Exterior Design and Features
The new i20 boasts an excellent front profile. It features a black grille with the Hyundai logo placed in the center. Halogen headlights come with turn indicators, and fog lamps are located below. The car has a ground clearance of 170 mm. It comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, though the spare wheel is a 15-inch slim type. The door handles are body-colored, and the side mirrors (ORVMs) are auto-foldable and adjustable, also featuring turn indicators.
At the rear, the car includes LED taillights and a shark fin antenna. The Hyundai i20 badging is clearly visible. For convenience, it also has parking sensors and a rearview camera.
Interior Comfort and Technology
Inside, the new i20 offers a significantly changed and enhanced interior compared to previous models. The dashboard features a fully digital instrument cluster, with the speedometer on the right and the tachometer on the left. It also includes a touchscreen infotainment system, with AC vents positioned in the middle and a hazard light button. Below these, you’ll find manual AC controls, a 12V charging socket, and a USB port.
The steering wheel sports the Hyundai logo. It has controls for the Multi-Information Display (MID) on the right side and controls for calls and music on the left. The car has a 5-speed manual transmission. The front cabin includes two bottle holders and a handbrake. The glove box offers good storage space.
Practicality and Space
The new i20 provides a spacious boot with a capacity of 311 liters. In the front doors, controls for all four power windows are present, along with lock/unlock buttons and a child lock feature. Each door also includes a speaker, a bottle holder, and a door pocket. The seats come with adjustable headrests.
The rear cabin is designed for comfort, featuring two AC vents and a charging socket below them. It also has two roof lights, a bottle holder, and a speaker. The passenger side sun visor includes a mirror.
