The Nissan Magnite 2021 is a popular car known for its bold design and value. We are exploring the All New Nissan Magnite’s base variant, called Xie. This car comes with four total variants and eight color options. If you choose the base variant, you get two color choices: Silver and White.

Engine and Transmission Choices

The Nissan Magnite offers both Manual and CVT (Automatic) transmission options. It is powered only by a petrol engine; a diesel option is not available. The car is proudly a “Make in India” product.

Bold Exterior Design

The Magnite has a very bold and big front look, giving it a sporty feel.

  • Front: It features a large Nissan logo and a black front grille with a shiny chrome finish around it for a premium touch. The base variant includes normal halogen headlamps. Upper variants offer projector headlamps and DRLs (Daytime Running Lights). Fog lamps are not included in the base model but can be added later. A black skid plate and a high 205 mm ground clearance make it easy to drive on different roads.
  • Side: The roof is single-toned, but dual-tone options are available in higher variants. It comes with 16-inch steel rims, disc brakes at the front, and drum brakes at the rear. Black cladding protects the sides, and turn indicators are placed on the center. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are black and can be adjusted manually. The car features silver finish roof rails even in the base variant, a feature not common in other base models. Body-colored door handles and door cladding are also present. The wheelbase is 2500 mm, and the fuel tank holds 40 liters.
  • Rear: The back profile is also bold and attractive. It has a micro roof antenna and a spoiler, which is a rare find in base variants of other cars. You get a high mount stop lamp, a defogger, and a rear wiper in the base model. The Nissan logo and Magnite badging are clearly visible. Wild signature tail lamps and parking sensors in the bumper are also included.

Practical Dimensions and Price

The Nissan Magnite has a length of 3994 mm, a width of 1758 mm, and a height of 1572 mm. The Ex-showroom price for the base variant is 559,000. The on-road price in Lucknow is about 659,000.

Smart and Comfortable Interior

The car offers a dual-tone interior, making the dashboard look great.

The steering wheel has a good grip, featuring a large Nissan logo and an SRS airbag. Controls for wipers and headlamps are on the steering column. Manual controls for ORVM adjustment are also present. The center console has AC vents with a silver finish. There is space to install an aftermarket music system. Buttons for hazard lights, boot open, and defogger are available. Manual AC controls and storage space are also provided. The manual transmission comes with a five-speed gearbox, and a CVT option is also available. There is a handbrake and two glass holders, but no armrest. A passenger airbag is on the dashboard, and a glove box provides storage. A day-night IRVM and a reading lamp are also included.
  • Doors & Windows: All four power window controls are provided in the base variant, which is often not seen in other cars’ base models. Child locks and bottle holders are also present. Speakers are not included but can be installed later.
