Engine and Performance

The Dzire comes with a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine. This engine offers 88 PS of power and 113 Newton-meters of torque. You can choose between manual and automatic transmission options. The car provides a mileage of about 23 to 24 kilometers per liter.

The new Dzire is available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.

Exterior Design and Features

From the front, the Dzire has a very attractive look with chrome accents. It features a large Suzuki logo and a black grille with chrome inserts. The headlights are normal halogen lights, and the indicators are placed nicely. Fog lamps are not included in this variant but can be added later. The front bumper also includes a tow hook option. The overall front design looks muscular.

On the side, the car features full-size wheel cups. Alloy wheels and projector headlamps are available in the top-end models. The outside rearview mirrors are electrically adjustable and can be folded or unfolded from inside the car. The door handles match the body color. This variant does not come with keyless entry. The door panel has a stylish dual-tone finish.

The rear of the Dzire also looks very appealing. It features attractive LED tail lamps. You will see a large Suzuki logo in the center, along with chrome finishing. The “Dzire” badge is placed on the side. The rear bumper is equipped with four parking sensors to help with reversing. It also has reflectors, an exhaust pipe, and a tow hook.

The car has a ground clearance of 163 millimeters. The wheelbase measures 2450 millimeters. Other exterior details include a high-mount stop lamp and an antenna on the roof.

Interior Comfort and Features

The interior of the Dzire offers a premium feel with a dual-tone dashboard. The driver’s door panel also has a dual-tone design. It includes controls for all four power windows, child lock, and the ability to adjust and fold the outside rearview mirrors. The door opener has a chrome finish, and there’s a bottle holder and speaker in the door.

The seats are made of fabric and offer both height adjustment and recline options. Near the driver’s seat, you’ll find controls for opening the fuel lid and the boot. The car also has an idle start/stop button and a headlamp adjustment switch.

The steering wheel features a Suzuki logo. It includes controls for audio and Bluetooth calls, with a nice silver finish. The steering is tilt-adjustable, allowing you to set it to your preference. It does not have a leather wrap. The instrument cluster is clear, showing an RPM meter on the left, an MID screen in the middle, and a speedometer on the right, which shows a top speed of 220 km/h. It displays information like range, trip, average, and door warnings.

The center console has a hazard light switch and AC vents with silver inserts. The car has an audio system with touch buttons and four speakers, supporting USB, Aux, and Bluetooth. There are manual AC controls below. You will also find a 12-volt charging socket, a USB port, and an Aux port. For storage, there is some space and two glass holders. The car comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox, with an AMT option also available. The handbrake is conveniently placed.

The front dashboard features a stylish wooden finish. There are two airbags in the front for safety. The glove box offers normal storage space without cooling. Overhead, there’s a grab handle, a vanity mirror for the co-passenger, a microphone, a roof light, and a manually adjustable interior rearview mirror. The driver’s side sun visor has a ticket holder but no vanity mirror.

The rear cabin is spacious, offering good legroom and thigh support. All headrests are adjustable, and there is a rear armrest. Rear passengers also get AC vents and a 12-volt charging socket for mobile devices. A roof light is also present in the rear. Three people can sit comfortably in the back.

Dimensions and Storage

The new Dzire has a length of 3995 millimeters, a width of 1735 millimeters, and a height of 1515 millimeters. Its turning radius is 4.8 meters, making it easy to maneuver.

The boot space is a generous 378 liters. It includes a boot lamp and ample luggage area. A 14-inch steel rim spare wheel, with Apollo tires, is located in the boot.

Safety Features

The Dzire is equipped with several safety features, including ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), Central Locking, Brake Assist, Power Door Lock, Seat Belt Warning, Speed Alert System, Child Safety Lock, Engine Immobilizer, Dual Airbags, Anti-Theft Alarm, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).

Pricing

The VXi manual transmission variant has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 7,14,000. The on-road price for this variant is approximately Rs. 8,30,000. If you choose the automatic version, the on-road price is around Rs. 8,85,000. Please note that prices may vary.
