Tigor Car Ownership Review

This article brings you an in-depth look at the Tigor car, shared by its owner, Mr. Ashish. This review focuses on the second variant of the Tigor, which also comes with a CNG option. Mr. Ashish has driven his Tigor for about five months and shares his experience.

Why Choose the Tigor?

Mr. Ashish looked at other car options like the Dzire and Amaze before choosing the Tigor. A major reason for his choice was the Tigor’s safety features. He felt there was a big difference in safety compared to other cars.

Driving Experience and Fuel Economy

Mr. Ashish has driven his Tigor for roughly 7000 kilometers over five months. He shared details about its fuel economy. With a full CNG tank, the car gives about 7 to 8 kg of CNG, sometimes even 8 to 9 kg. This helps for good travel range.

He noted that the mileage is best when driving below 100 km/h. If you drive over 100 km/h, the mileage drops. Driving between 40 to 50 km/h gives excellent mileage, around 24 to 25 km/kg. He also mentioned that the petrol mileage is good.

Performance and Power Details

The Tigor delivers 68 PS of power. Mr. Ashish did not notice any lack of power when driving the car on petrol. However, when using the CNG option, he felt a slight difference in power. The car also comes with dual airbags for safety.

Tigor Variants and Key Features

The Tigor is available in different variants, including XZ and XZ+. This review focuses on a second variant that also offers a CNG option. The top models of the Tigor come with more features. The car offers good boot space, enough for two large bags and smaller items. There is also usable space under and on top of the seats in the rear.

Interior Comfort and Added Accessories

Mr. Ashish spent 10,700 rupees on car accessories. These included new seat covers and floor mats. He mentioned that the company-fitted seat covers were not of the best quality and he chose to upgrade them. The car has an audio system, but it is not a touch screen type. The interior design includes manual controls for the air conditioning. It also features an armrest with two cup holders, adding to the comfort.

Safety and Build Quality

Safety was a very important factor for Mr. Ashish when he chose the Tigor. He feels the car has a strong build. The presence of dual airbags further enhances the safety for occupants.

Owner’s Final Recommendation

Mr. Ashish is happy with his Tigor and recommends it to others. He believes it offers good value for its price. He suggests that anyone looking for a car in this segment should consider the Tigor.
