Car Test Drive: Performance and Features Review

We recently took a car for a comprehensive test drive, focusing on its performance and features. The test drive included highway driving, where we explored its capabilities and overall driving experience.

Smooth Driving Experience

The driving experience was notably smooth. The car feels like butter to drive. All the engines from this brand are known for being refined, and this car is no exception. It offers a very refined and smooth ride, making the driving experience comfortable and enjoyable.

Engine and Power

Under the hood, this car features a 1.2-liter petrol engine. This engine delivers approximately 113 Nm of torque. During our test, the car was running on CNG fuel.

One of the impressive aspects is the engine’s silence. When the car is stationary, its engine is so quiet that it’s hard to tell if it’s on or off. This quiet operation adds to the premium feel of the car.

Build Quality and Highway Performance

The car’s build quality is excellent and can be compared to other strong brands in the market. The engine’s refined nature contributes to the overall smooth performance.

For the test, we drove on a long expressway, known for its smooth surface, which is perfect for testing top speeds and handling. The car maintained a steady 100 km/h in fifth gear while running on CNG, showing its consistent performance. Even after driving for a significant distance, the journey felt effortless.

Car Variants and Features

The specific car tested was a second-tier variant with CNG. Other variants are also available. The top model comes with additional features like alloy wheels, an advanced infotainment system, and projector headlights, which are not present in this variant.

This car also offers both manual and automatic transmission options. Beyond petrol and CNG, the car is available with a diesel engine option and a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine.

Pricing Details

The on-road price for the second-tier CNG variant is approximately 7.95 lakh in Lucknow. It is important to note that car prices can vary by state due to different taxes and charges. If you opt for the petrol version, it would be around 1 lakh cheaper than the CNG model.

Driving Conditions and Maintenance

This car had already covered 1286 kilometers and had completed its first service before this extensive test drive. We have driven it in both city conditions and on the highway, and it performed well in all scenarios.

The car also features a large music system, which offers good sound output.

Safety First

While an expressway provides an ideal environment for testing a car’s top speed and performance, it is always crucial to prioritize safety. Drivers should maintain proper road etiquette and never take unnecessary risks.
