Striking Exterior Design

The Hyundai i20 boasts a great-looking front profile. It features a smart key with lock and unlock buttons and the Hyundai logo. The grille comes in a gloss black finish with grey accents, prominently displaying the Hyundai logo. For the N Line variant, special badging is visible on the side.

The front design includes clear indicator placement and bright Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). Projector fog lamps provide yellow light for better visibility. The N Line model adds sporty red elements to the front bumper and a skid plate, giving it a powerful look.

Convenience is a priority with a wireless charging pad, two USB ports, and a 12V power outlet. The DCT transmission lever also has red stitching. For the regular i20, a 1.2-liter Kappa Petrol engine is available, generating 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque, with a similar mileage of 19-20 kmpl.

The car provides various transmission options for petrol engines, including DCT, iVT, and iMT. Diesel variants are offered exclusively with a manual transmission.

Dimensions, Space, and Practicality

The Hyundai i20 is well-proportioned, measuring 3995 mm in length, 1775 mm in width, and 1505 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2580 mm, contributing to a stable ride. The ground clearance stands at 170 mm.

The boot offers a generous 311 liters of space, making it practical for luggage. It also includes boot lights and a spare wheel with a toolkit. The fuel tank has a capacity of 37 liters.

Safety is a key aspect of the Hyundai i20. It is equipped with six airbags for comprehensive protection. A reverse parking camera and two rear parking sensors assist in safe maneuvering and parking. The doors also come with child lock features.

Hyundai i20 Price & Variants

The Hyundai i20 range starts from approximately 7.5 lakhs (ex-showroom). The top N Line DCT variant can go up to around 14 lakhs (on-road in Lucknow). The regular i20 is available in four variants, while the N Line offers two variants: N6 and N8.

For comparison, the 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine option in Lucknow could be around 10.9 lakhs on-road. The top-end diesel variant might be priced around 12.2 lakhs on-road in Lucknow.

Color Options

The i20 is available in a range of attractive colors, including White (as seen), Starry Night, Grey, Red Metallic, Copper, and Silver. Dual-tone color options are also provided.

Hyundai offers a warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometers with the i20.
