Exterior Design and Features

The Tata Punch has a muscular and strong front look. The front grille features a gloss black finish with the prominent Tata logo. It comes with normal halogen headlights and side parking lights that also work as indicators. While fog lamps are not standard on the base model, housing is provided in the bumper, allowing you to add them later as an accessory. The lower grille is blacked out with a ‘Tri-arrow’ design pattern. The car offers a ground clearance of 187 mm and includes dual wipers and washers.

From the side, the base model has a simple appearance. It comes with 15-inch steel wheels, and wheel covers will need to be added later. The tires are 185/70 R15 radials, and black body cladding is present around the wheel arches. The outside rearview mirrors are finished in matt black, manually foldable, adjustable, and include integrated turn indicators. The door handles are also black.

The rear profile of the base model also has a simple look. It features the new Tata logo and ‘Punch’ badging. There is no rear wiper or defogger in this variant. A high-mounted stop lamp and a power antenna are included. The tail lights are normal halogen bulbs with a ‘Tri-arrow’ design. The rear bumper is blacked out with a ‘Tri-arrow’ pattern and includes two reverse parking sensors.

Interior Comfort and Dashboard

Inside, the Tata Punch base model offers a dual-tone dashboard. It does not come with an audio system, which can be installed later. Other accessories like door visors and seat covers are also available to enhance the interior. The car’s warranty is 3 years or 1 lakh kilometers, which can be extended.

The steering wheel is plain with the Tata logo and is tilt-adjustable, but it does not have mounted controls. The instrument cluster is fully digital, displaying RPM, fuel gauge, temperature bars, and a multi-information display (MID) for trip details, average mileage, and range. Controls for headlights and wipers are on separate stalks.

The center console is also dual-tone. Manual AC controls for fan speed, flow, and temperature are present. Below these, there is a small storage space and a 12V charging outlet. The base model comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. It also has a manual fuel lid opener and two drive modes, including an idle start-stop button.

The glove box is a standard type and not cooled. It also includes a tablet holder. The car features a normal IRVM and a standard yellow roof light. The driver’s side sun visor has a ticket holder, while the passenger’s side is plain without a vanity mirror.

Seating and Space

The seats are upholstered in fabric, and seat covers can be added as accessories. Only a seat recline option is available in this variant. Rear passengers will find average legroom and thigh support. Child seat mounts are present, and the headrests are fixed. There are no rear AC vents in any variant of the Tata Punch. The rear doors do not have power window controls.

Boot Space and Dimensions

The Tata Punch offers a generous boot space of 366 liters. There is no parcel tray in the base model. The spare tire is a normal steel rim, placed below the boot floor.
