The K SOS base model starts at ₹9,49,000 (ex-showroom). The HTK Optional Diesel variant costs ₹11,30,000 (ex-showroom). The on-road price in Lucknow for this variant is around ₹13,21,000. For financing, if you pay ₹3,21,000 as a down payment and finance ₹10,00,000 at 9.5% interest, the EMI would be around ₹20,000 for 5 years or ₹16,000-₹17,000 for 7 years.
Engine Options
The K SOS offers both petrol and diesel engine options. The diesel variant features a 1.5-liter CRDI diesel engine. For those preferring petrol, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine is available.
Exterior Design and Features
The K SOS comes with a flip remote central locking key, featuring K branding, lock, unlock, and boot lock buttons. The front profile includes the K logo and a black strip between the bonnet and bumper. The lower grille is black and has four parking sensors. The headlamp setup includes automatic projector headlamps with parking lights and indicators, but no DRLs. The ground clearance is approximately 190 mm. This car is seen in an attractive Olive Green color. It has manual dual wipers and washers, but automatic headlamps are present. Roof rails with a silver finish are provided.
From the side, the K SOS measures around 3995 mm in length, making it a sub-4-meter car. It has alloy wheels with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The tires are 16-inch radial tires (215/60 R16). Black cladding runs along the side. The ORVMs are auto-foldable and include integrated indicators. The A-pillar has a glossy black finish. Flush door handles give a clean look. The diesel variant has a 45-liter fuel tank capacity and requires DEF (AdBlue/Urea) filling.
At the rear, the K logo is central. This variant does not have a rear wiper or defogger. It features a high-mount stop lamp and a shark fin antenna. The KROS badge is also present. The backlights include indicators and reflectors on both sides. There are four reverse parking sensors and a reverse parking camera near the nameplate. A silver finish skid plate is at the bottom, and the reverse light is in the center of the bumper. The exhaust pipe is visible below.

Interior Comfort and Features
The interior features sun blind curtains, power window controls, door openers, speakers, and bottle holders on the door trims. The dashboard has a premium black finish. Rear passengers benefit from AC vents and two Type-C USB ports. The car offers good legroom and knee room. The rear seats have two fixed headrests and three-point seatbelts. A parcel tray is not included in this variant but can be added later. White LED roof lights are present in the cabin. The K SOS offers good headroom.
The driver’s side door trim includes controls for all four power windows, central lock/unlock, and ORVM adjustments. The seats are fabric with height adjustment and recline options for the driver. Other features include a fuel lid opener, manual transmission pedals, a dead pedal, a bonnet release lever, a traction control switch, and headlamp level adjustment.
Driver’s Cockpit
The K SOS features a new digital instrument cluster with a speedometer and RPM meter. The steering wheel, with K branding, includes controls for telephony, infotainment, and the Multi-Information Display (MID). The MID shows tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) information, driving details, fuel gauge, and temperature. The steering wheel is tilt-adjustable. Automatic headlamp and wiper controls are on the stalks.
The center console has a 12.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and Aux connectivity. A full-screen reverse parking camera activates when reverse gear is engaged. Below the touchscreen are controls for media, setup, search, map, and home. A hazard light switch and AC controls (temperature, flow, fan speed) are also present. The front also includes two Type-C USB ports and a 12V charging outlet. A switch to turn front parking sensors on/off and a view button for the camera are provided. This variant comes with a six-speed manual transmission, two glass holders, and a handbrake. A large, soft-touch armrest offers internal storage. The glove box provides space for documents. Above, there’s a manually adjustable IRVM, a sunglass holder, white LED roof lights (which turn on softly), and a microphone. The passenger side has a vanity mirror, and the driver side has a ticket holder.
Sunroof
This HTK Optional variant includes an electric sunroof. A panoramic sunroof option is available in higher variants.
Boot Space
The K SOS offers a generous 465 liters of boot space. The rear seats are 100% foldable to extend cargo capacity. A boot light is present. The spare tire is 15 inches, while the main tires are 16 inches.
Engine Performance and Mileage
The 1.5-liter CRDI diesel engine produces 114 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. It is expected to deliver a mileage of 18-19 kmpl. The 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine offers 118 bhp of power and 172 Nm of torque, with an estimated mileage of 15-17 kmpl, depending on driving style. The diesel engine is known for its refinement.
