Variants and Pricing

The Mahindra XUV700 comes in several variants: MX3, X5, X7, and X7 Luxury. Prices start from approximately 14 lakhs ex-showroom, with the top model reaching around 28 lakhs.

The X5 diesel 7-seater variant costs 19.29 lakhs ex-showroom and approximately 22.30 lakhs on-road in Lucknow. A 5-seater X5 variant would be about 1 lakh less ex-showroom.

Exterior Design and Dimensions

The XUV700 boasts an impressive design. It features a bold front grille with the new brand logo. The headlamps are a full LED setup, offering good light throw. LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) enhance its look.

The car’s length is 4695 mm, width is 1890 mm, and height is 1755 mm. The wheelbase measures 2750 mm.

Key and Front Features

The car comes with a flip remote central locking key. It has buttons for lock, unlock, and boot unlock. The rear of the key features the brand logo.

The XUV700 includes a panoramic sunroof and roof rails.

Side Profile and Wheels

The side profile of the XUV700 looks robust. It is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) have integrated turn indicators and can be electrically adjusted and folded.

The car has all four-wheel disc brakes for good stopping power.

Interior Comfort and Technology

Inside, the XUV700 offers a premium experience. The dashboard features a large integrated screen for both the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster.

A notable addition in the updated X5 variant is cruise control, which was not present in older X5 models. This new X5 variant also includes a reverse parking camera, which was absent in older models.

The steering wheel has the brand logo and controls for the infotainment system, calling, and voice commands. It is tilt-adjustable.

The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports car connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The reverse parking camera view on the screen is noted to be small.

The car has dual-tone door trims and glossy black finishes on the door handles. It offers automatic climate control and a 6-speed manual transmission (an automatic option is also available).

Other interior features include a smart key, engine start/stop button, a wireless charging pad, an electronic parking brake, and a manual adjustable IRVM (Inside Rear View Mirror). The glove box is a normal size and does not have a cooling function; it includes a tablet holder. White LED cabin lights and a vanity mirror on the passenger sun visor are provided.

Seating and Space

The XUV700 offers comfortable seating. Fabric seats are standard, with options for captain seats and ventilated seats in higher variants. The front seats offer height adjustment.

The second row provides ample legroom and knee room. Rear passengers get AC vents, a Type-C USB port, and a phone holder.

The third row is suitable for children or average-sized adults, with adjustable headrests, glass holders, AC vents, and a 12V charging outlet. Entry into the third row requires folding the second-row seats.

For cargo, the 7-seater variant has limited boot space when all seats are upright. However, folding the third-row seats flat (60:40 split) expands the boot space to over 400 liters. A tool kit is stored beneath the boot floor, and the spare wheel is located under the car at the rear.
