The Nissan Magnite base variant offers a compelling package for car buyers. This model comes with an on-road price in Lucknow between ₹6,00,000 and ₹6,50,000. It is available only with a manual transmission. For body colors, you get two options: White and Silver.

Engine & Performance

Under the hood, the Magnite base variant features a 1.0-liter petrol engine. This engine produces 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. The car delivers an impressive mileage of 18.75 kmpl, with some drivers achieving up to 19 kmpl.

Exterior Highlights

The Magnite boasts a muscular and bold front look. It has a dominating black front grille with a chrome finish around the Nissan logo. Normal halogen headlamps come with turn indicators. Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) are available, but fog lamps are not included in this variant (can be added later). The ground clearance is 205 mm.

Regarding dimensions, the Magnite is 3994 mm long, 1758 mm wide, and 1572 mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2500 mm. The side profile features 16-inch wheels (tire size 195/60 R16), which are the same size as the top variants. It includes black door cladding, manually adjustable black ORVMs, a black A-pillar, and body-colored door handles. Silver finish roof rails are also offered. The turning radius for the Magnite is 5 meters.

At the rear, the car has an integrated spoiler and a high-mount stop light. A defogger and a rear wiper are also provided. You will find the Nissan logo and a large “MAGNITE” badging. It features white signature taillights and a black lower bumper with four parking sensors.

Comfort & Interior Features

The base variant offers a premium-looking interior. All four doors come with power window controls. Driver and rear doors have bottle holders, with space available for aftermarket speakers. The seats are supportive and offer a reclining function, though height adjustment is not available for the driver’s seat.

The dashboard includes a digital instrument cluster with a multi-info display (MID) and various warning lights. The steering wheel features the Nissan logo and an airbag. Controls for wipers are on the left, and controls for lights/headlamps are on the right, along with manual volume adjustments. The center console has silver-finish AC vents, manual AC controls, and a storage space for phones. A factory-fitted music system is not included but can be installed later. The car comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. A glovebox is also present.

Other interior features include an interior cabin light, a passenger-side sun visor with a vanity mirror, and a driver-side sun visor with a ticket holder. Rear passengers benefit from good legroom and headroom, two bottle holders, and a rear reading light.

The boot space capacity is 336 liters, and the rear seats can be fully folded to expand this space. A spare wheel is provided, and the boot area includes two lights. A parcel tray is not included but can be added later. The boot door has a handle for easy closing.

The Magnite base variant is equipped with a range of safety features. These include ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), dual airbags, power door lock, seat belt warning, child safety lock, and reverse parking sensors.
