Price and Variants
The base model of the Tata Nexon starts from just ₹8 Lakh (ex-showroom). The top petrol model, the Fearless Plus PS, is priced at ₹13,30,000 (ex-showroom). If you buy the petrol top model in Lucknow, it will cost around ₹15,38,000 on the road. The top diesel model will be slightly more, around ₹17 Lakh on the road.
Engine Options and Performance
The Tata Nexon offers various engine choices, including petrol, diesel, and electric (EV). It also has a CNG option. This wide range of choices is unique in its segment.
The petrol engine is a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Revotron unit. It produces 118 BHP of power and 170 Nm of torque. You can expect a mileage of 18-19 kmpl with the petrol variant, depending on your driving style.
For those who prefer diesel, there’s a 1.5-liter engine. This diesel engine provides 113 BHP of power and about 260 Nm of torque. The diesel model offers an even better mileage of over 20 kmpl.
Exterior Design and Features
The Fearless Plus PS model boasts a striking design. The front features a glossy black grille with the Tata logo. It includes a 360-degree camera and two front parking sensors for easy maneuvering. The lower grille is black, complemented by a grey skid plate. The DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) are dual-functional, working as both DRLs and indicators. From the side, the Nexon shows off unique 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels (215/60 R16 Radial tires), different from other Nexon variants. It has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. Black cladding runs along the side and wheel arches, adding to its SUV look. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are auto-foldable and include indicators and a 360-degree camera. The A-pillar is black, and the roof rails are silver, enhancing the panoramic sunroof that extends far back, offering an open feel.
The rear profile features eye-catching connected LED taillights that greatly enhance its overall looks. You’ll find the Tata logo in the center and Nexon branding below. Inside, the Fearless Plus PS model offers a premium experience. The door trims feature soft-touch leather in a grey finish, with chrome door handles and glossy black accents. Power window controls, speakers, and bottle holders are conveniently placed in the doors.
The seats are made of grey leather, and the front seats are ventilated, providing extra comfort. Rear passengers benefit from AC vents and both Type-A and Type-C USB charging ports.
