Discover the Mahindra Bolero Neo: Design, Features, and Pricing

The Mahindra Bolero Neo is a robust SUV that offers a distinct and muscular look. This vehicle is available in four different variants and comes with various color options. It is exclusively offered with a diesel engine, with no petrol or automatic transmission options available.

Exterior Design & Highlights

The Bolero Neo boasts an attractive and muscular front profile. It features a chrome-finished grille, similar to the classic Bolero. The front includes normal halogen headlights, integrated DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), and fog lamps (on the top model). Underbody cladding adds to its rugged appeal and protects the vehicle. The ground clearance is approximately 180mm.

From the side, the Bolero Neo stands out with its body cladding, which gives it a unique SUV feel. It rides on 15-inch alloy wheels, fitted with 215/75 R15 tires. The front wheels are equipped with disc brakes, while the rear wheels use drum brakes. Practical side footsteps are provided for easy entry and exit. The outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) are electrically adjustable from inside and include integrated turn indicators.

The rear design of the Bolero Neo shares a resemblance with the TUV300. It features an attractive back profile with “Bolero Neo” badging and neatly integrated taillamps. A spare tire is conveniently mounted on the rear door. Other rear features include a high-mount stop lamp, a rear wiper, a rear defogger, and a spoiler. For parking ease, four reverse parking sensors are integrated into the rear bumper, along with reflectors and a rear footstep. The door handle on the back is black.

Interior Comfort & Technology

Step inside the Bolero Neo to experience a premium, dual-tone interior. The high seating position offers a commanding view. The dashboard also features a premium dual-tone design.

The instrument cluster provides essential information, including an RPM meter, a multi-information display (MID) screen, and a speedometer. The steering wheel carries the Mahindra logo and features controls for the infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, and cruise control. Wiper and headlight controls are also easily accessible. An Eco mode switch is present for improved fuel efficiency.

A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system is at the heart of the central console, paired with a sound system comprising four speakers and two tweeters (Pioneer speakers are implied for good sound output). Manual AC controls, a 12V charging socket, and a USB port are conveniently located below the infotainment screen. The vehicle comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. Other interior details include cabin lights, a microphone, a vanity mirror on the passenger side (no mirror on the driver side), and a glovebox. The key is a flip key with lock/unlock buttons and Mahindra branding.

The second-row seating offers good legroom and headroom, even when the front seats are pushed back. Power window controls and speakers are present in the second-row doors. The third row consists of foldable seats designed to accommodate two people comfortably. Overall, the cabin provides a comfortable and spacious environment. Rear passengers also enjoy a high seating position.
