Exterior Design

From the front, the XUV300 looks broad and impressive, resembling a cheetah in its design. The front fascia features a large Mahindra logo in the center and a big chrome grille. The headlights are projector LEDs, providing good illumination with white LED lights and striking DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) that offer a great look at night. Side indicators are placed nearby. Lower down, you’ll find halogen fog lamps and front parking sensors integrated into the bumper. The lower grille has a stylish chrome strip, and a front skid plate adds to its robust appearance. An engine guard is also present to protect the engine. The car has a ground clearance of 180 millimeters. It features broad, rain-sensing wipers.

From the side, the XUV300 has a strong and broad road presence. It rides on large 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. All four wheels come with disc brakes, providing strong stopping power. It includes a parcel tray, adjustable headrests, and 60:40 split rear seats that can be folded down to increase luggage capacity. A tool kit is also provided.

Warranty and Color Options

Mahindra offers a warranty of 3 years with unlimited kilometers for the XUV300. The car is available in several attractive color options, including White (as seen in this overview), Black, Silver, Red, and Aquamarine Grey.

Interior Comfort and Technology

The seats are upholstered in white leather (while the turbo petrol variant gets black leather seats). Both height and recline adjustments are available for the driver’s seat.

Inside, the dashboard also has a dual-tone design. Controls on the left of the steering wheel manage traction control, idle start/stop, and front parking sensor activation. The instrument cluster is digital, displaying the speedometer (up to 220 kmph) and a multi-information display (MID) screen. The MID provides various details such as average mileage, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), settings, range, and audio information.

The steering wheel features the new Mahindra logo and includes mounted controls for cruise control, infotainment, and telephony. It is also tilt-adjustable for driver comfort. The touchscreen infotainment system supports applications like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, offers navigation, and displays mileage. It provides a combination of 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. The reverse parking camera has average quality and clarity, and sensor information is displayed on the MID screen.

The center console includes a hazard switch, trip buttons, steering mode selection, and fully automatic climate control. Below these, there are two USB ports, one AUX port, a 12V charging outlet, and a small storage area suitable for a phone. The car features a 6-speed manual gearbox, two cup holders, a handbrake, and an armrest with storage space. The glove box is deep, offering ample storage for documents. The top model comes with 6 airbags, including curtain airbags. From the driver’s seat, the bonnet is visible, aiding in judging the car’s front. Other interior features include a sunglass holder, interior lights, and a vanity mirror with lights on the passenger side.

For the rear passengers, there is good legroom and kneeroom, thanks to the longer wheelbase. The door panels feature hard plastic and include storage pockets for magazines. A rear armrest with cup holders is also present. The seats offer good under-thigh support.
