Enhanced Features and Technology

The new Adventure X Plus Dark Edition adds advanced features for a better driving experience. It now includes ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) for improved safety and convenience. Inside, drivers will appreciate the new electric adjustable memory seats, offering personalized comfort and ease of use.

Exterior Design and Dimensions

The Safari Adventure X Plus Dark Edition boasts a commanding presence. The front features the Tata logo and a 360-degree camera placed below it. The front grille comes in a glossy black finish, and the ADAS radar is located at the bottom. The DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) also house the indicators. The car is equipped with bi-functional projector automatic headlamps, which are LED. This variant does not include fog lamps. The ground clearance is approximately 200 mm, which is ideal for the vehicle’s size.

From the side, the SUV rides on stylish 19-inch black alloy wheels. Disc brakes are present on both the front and rear wheels. The tire profile is 245/55 R19. A slim black cladding runs along the side, and “Dark Edition” and “Safari” badges highlight its special identity. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are auto-foldable and include a 360-degree camera. The A and B pillars match the body color, and a panoramic sunroof along with roof rails top the vehicle.

The overall dimensions of the Safari are:

  • Length: 4668 mm
  • Width: 1922 mm
  • Height: 1795 mm
  • Wheelbase: 2741 mm

The rear profile includes the Tata logo, “Safari” badging, and a reverse parking camera. It also has a rear wiper, defogger, a high-mount stop lamp, and an integrated spoiler. A shark fin antenna is present on the roof. The wider skid plate and two reverse parking sensors enhance functionality.

Luxurious and Connected Interior

Step inside the Adventure X Plus Dark Edition to find a completely black-themed interior, true to its “Dark Edition” name. The black leather seats are luxurious. The dashboard is large and black, complemented by a black roof lining. The panoramic sunroof offers an expansive view.

The second-row seating provides excellent legroom and thigh support. The seats can slide forward, backward, and recline, offering comfort for all passengers. Second-row occupants also get two USB ports (Type A and Type C). The headroom in the Safari is impressive, ensuring a comfortable ride. Grab handles, hooks, and white LED roof lights are available.

Accessing the third row is made easy by folding the second-row seats. The third row also features adjustable headrests and 50-50 split-foldable seats. While it provides adequate space, especially for children, some adults may find it a bit compact. Two USB ports are also provided for third-row passengers.

The driver’s area is feature-rich. The smart key allows for lock, unlock, boot unlock, and follow-me-home lights. The fully digital instrument cluster displays RPM, speed, temperature, fuel, and range information. The leather-wrapped steering wheel has an illuminated Tata logo, cruise control, ADAS controls, MID controls, and telephonic/infotainment controls. It is also adjustable for personalized comfort. Automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers are standard.

The center console houses a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and AUX connectivity. The 360-degree camera provides a clear, high-quality view. Automatic climate control buttons are touch-responsive. The console also includes USB ports (Type A and a 45W Type C), storage space (no wireless charging), and multiple drive modes (Sport, Economy). The vehicle comes with a six-speed manual transmission, with an automatic option available. An electronic parking brake with auto-hold adds convenience.

Powerful Diesel Engine

The Tata Safari Adventure X Plus Dark Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine. This engine delivers 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. Currently, only a diesel engine option is available. The engine is well-insulated under the bonnet. The mileage is estimated to be between 15-16 km/l, depending on driving conditions.
