Opening the tailgate is easy with a press of a button on the key. The boot offers good space, with over 400 liters in the petrol-only variant. However, in the CNG variant, the boot space is reduced to around 200 liters due to the 65-liter liquid capacity CNG tank. A normal steel rim stepney tire is located under the boot floor. The tailgate does not have any insulation or cover.

The rear seats feature two adjustable headrests and a central armrest with two glass holders. Rear passengers also benefit from dedicated AC vents and a 12V charging outlet. The roof features a regular halogen bulb light.

The driver’s door includes controls for all four power windows, door lock/unlock buttons, and ORVM adjustments. On the dashboard, you’ll find a manual AC system with controls for fan speed, temperature, and airflow. Below the AC controls, there’s a 12V charging outlet, along with Type A and Type C USB ports, and a dedicated space to place your phone. The car comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, though an automatic transmission option is available with the petrol variant. There are two cup holders in the front and a manual handbrake.

The steering wheel is tilt-adjustable and comes with steering-mounted controls for the infotainment system, allowing you to manage calls and audio easily. The instrument cluster is fully analog, displaying an RPM meter, speedometer (marked up to 220 km/h), and separate bars for petrol and CNG fuel levels. A central Multi-Information Display (MID) screen shows various details like drive information, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), door light status, service interval, language settings, trip details, average mileage, and range.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The central console features a button-type music system with connectivity options like Bluetooth, USB, and Aux. Volume controls are also present. Higher variants of the Aura, such as the SX, offer a touchscreen infotainment system. Hazard lights are controlled by a switch in the middle of the dashboard. The glovebox is cooled, keeping your items fresh. On the driver’s side sun visor, there’s a ticket holder, while the co-driver side sun visor is plain.

Engine Specifications and Fuel Options

The Hyundai Aura is powered by a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine. This car is available as a bi-fuel option, running on both petrol and CNG. There is no diesel engine option. The bonnet does not have insulation, which is common in CNG variants. The petrol fuel tank capacity is 37 liters, and the CNG tank can hold approximately 8-9 kg, depending on the pump pressure. The fuel filler cap can be opened using a lever located under the driver’s seat.
