Hyundai Santro CNG Mileage: How Far One Bar Goes

We wanted to find out how many kilometers a Hyundai Santro car runs on one bar of CNG fuel. This test will help understand the car’s CNG performance.

Starting the Mileage Test

To start the test, we checked the car’s fuel level. The car had one bar of CNG showing, with a green light on. We set the car’s trip meter to zero kilometers. This way, we could accurately measure the distance covered.

The Drive and Highway Travel

We began driving the Santro car. The journey started by driving through village areas. Later, we drove onto the highway. During the drive, the car had already covered about 25 kilometers on the highway. We continued to monitor the car’s CNG fuel consumption.

Past Fueling Experience

Before this test, when the car’s gas tank was filled, it cost around 200 rupees. With that amount of CNG, the car was expected to run somewhere between 200 to 225 kilometers. This gives some context to the overall Santro CNG fuel efficiency.

Result: Kilometers on One CNG Bar

Finally, the one bar of CNG in the car finished. We checked the trip meter for the total distance. The Hyundai Santro car traveled 40 kilometers on that single bar of CNG. We did not show the inside of the car during the trip because family members were present, which caused some hesitation to film inside.
