The Tata Punch is a popular micro-SUV, and here we will explore the Adventure variant in detail. This is the second base variant and comes with all the necessary features you need. Let’s look at its price and features.

Tata Punch Variants Available

The Tata Punch is available in four variants: Pure (base), Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative (top model). The Creative variant offers advanced features like iRA connectivity and other conveniences. While the base variant has two color options, White and Grey, the Adventure variant, which you see here, is available in Orange and offers more choices than the base. The top model provides a total of seven color options, and the Creative variant also includes a dual-tone roof option.

Tata Punch Adventure: Exterior Design

The front of the Tata Punch Adventure features a large Tata logo and a glossy black grille with a Tri-arrow design. On the sides, you’ll find yellow parking lights and indicators. The headlights are normal halogen units; fog lamps are not included in this variant. The front bumper is black, and the lower grille also sports the Tri-arrow design in black.

Moving to the rear, the vehicle has a high stop lamp. However, a rear wiper or defogger is only available in the top model. The rear features a Rhyno logo. This variant does not have LED taillights, which are found in higher models. You will see a reflector and a Tri-arrow design on the black rear bumper, which also includes two ultrasonic parking sensors and a reverse light. The exhaust is visible below the bumper.

Top-Tier Safety: The Tata Punch

Safety is a key highlight of the Tata Punch. It has achieved a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, making it one of the safest micro-SUVs in its segment. It comes with dual airbags and ABS with EBD for enhanced braking safety.

The Tata Punch offers a warranty of 2 years or 75,000 kilometers. This car competes with vehicles like the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kwid. Tata emphasizes that the Punch is “Made in India” with “number one quality” and provides all necessary features. A unique safety feature is that all doors open 90 degrees, allowing for easy entry and exit.

Wheels, Ground Clearance, and Body Cladding

The Tata Punch Adventure comes with 15-inch steel rims, featuring the Tata logo. It uses 185/70 R15 tires. The front wheels have disc brakes, while the rear wheels have drum brakes. This micro-SUV provides a ground clearance of 187 millimeters. Black body cladding is present along the sides. The vehicle is equipped with dual wipers and a roof antenna. It has a fuel tank capacity of 37 liters.

Inside the Tata Punch Adventure

Stepping inside, the door handles are body-colored, and the door panels are black. The interior features power window controls and electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), which can be manually folded. The remote key provides central locking and a follow-me-home headlight function.

The front dashboard features AC vents with orange accents, matching the car’s color. The glovebox is a standard type without a cooling option. The sun visor on the passenger side includes a vanity mirror, and grab handles are also present. The center console houses manual AC controls, a USB and Aux port, and a 12-volt charging outlet with space for a mobile phone. The car comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox, a handbrake, and two glass holders.

The boot offers a generous 366 liters of space and includes a parcel tray and a boot light. A spare wheel and toolkit are also provided in the boot. The car has a wheelbase of 2445 millimeters. In the rear, you’ll find fabric seats with fixed headrests, but no armrest. Child lock features are available on the rear doors.

Infotainment and Interior Comfort

The instrument cluster displays essential information like the RPM meter, speedometer, trip details, average mileage, and range. This variant comes with an audio system, but it is not a touch-screen unit. For those who prefer a touch-screen infotainment system and a reverse parking camera (company fitted), an upgrade to the Adventure Rhythm variant is available for an additional 35,000 rupees. The audio system supports Bluetooth, USB, and Aux connectivity and is paired with speakers. All audio controls are conveniently located on the dashboard.

Engine Specifications and Driving Modes

The Tata Punch Adventure is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine. This engine produces 86 PS of power and 113.2 Nm of torque. The car offers a mileage of approximately 19-20 kmpl. It includes two driving modes: City and Eco. An automatic transmission option is available in all variants except the base Pure variant. Safety features like dual airbags and ABS with EBD are standard across the car.

The starting price for the Tata Punch is 5.92 lakhs, with the top model reaching up to 87 thousand.

For the Adventure variant, the ex-showroom price is 6.90 lakhs, and the on-road price in Lucknow is approximately 7.64 lakhs.

If you opt for the Adventure Rhythm variant, the ex-showroom price is 7.41 lakhs, with an on-road price in Lucknow around 83 thousand. This variant includes a touch infotainment system and a reverse parking camera.
