This car offers great looks and a wealth of features, especially in its top model. It comes in four variants: Lxi, Vxi, Zxi, and the Zxi+ as the top model. You can choose between petrol and CNG options. The car uses the familiar old key with lock and unlock buttons and proudly displays the Suzuki logo.

Striking Exterior Design

Front View The front features a large Suzuki logo set in a grey and chrome finish grille. Below, you’ll find a 360-degree camera. The headlamp setup includes projector automatic LED headlamps with DRLs that look impressive when lit. Indicators are placed above. The bumper houses halogen-based fog lamps and a tow hook option. The lower grille is blacked out, and a skid plate is also offered. The front engine and suspension setup are robust. This car boasts a good ground clearance of 200 mm. It has a broad engine hood and dual wipers with washers. The A-pillar is completely blacked out.

Side Profile and Dimensions From the side, the car looks strong and well-proportioned for its segment. The top model comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, a touchscreen, a reverse parking camera, and ambient lighting, among many other features.

Rear Design The tail lamps look attractive when illuminated. A reverse parking camera is placed near the number plate. Being a top model, it includes a rear wiper, defogger, high mount stop lamp, integrated spoiler, sunroof, roof rails, and a shark fin antenna. The rear bumper is blacked out and fitted with four reverse parking sensors. Reflectors are present on both sides. A large, sporty skid plate adds to the rear’s aggressive look. The rear suspension setup is visible, and the exhaust pipe is on the right side.

Comfortable and Tech-Savvy Interior

Second Row Features The rear doors have a fabric touch, power window controls, chrome door openers, speakers, and bottle holders. All seats come with seatbelts. The center console is visible from the second row, and a sunroof is overhead. Rear passengers get AC vents and two USB ports for charging devices. Legroom and thigh support are good, suitable for the 2500 mm wheelbase. Blue ambient lighting is found in all four doors. There are handles and hand hooks, along with a quarter glass. Adjustable headrests are provided, and the armrest includes glass holders. The rear doors also have child locks.

Driver’s Cockpit and Dashboard The driver’s door handle features a request sensor for keyless entry, allowing easy lock and unlock. The door trim is a dual-tone black and brownish finish, matching the dashboard. The driver’s door has controls for all four power windows, central lock/unlock, and ORVM adjustments. The door opener has a chrome finish. Tweeters are located higher up, with a silver finish, and ambient lighting is visible at night. Speakers and bottle holders are also in the doors.

The seats are fabric, with no leather option. They offer height adjustment and recline options, but no electric adjustment. For the automatic variant, there are brake and accelerator pedals, along with a dead pedal. Levers for opening the hood and fuel lid are on the side. The dashboard features several switches: a push engine start/stop button, controls for the Head-Up Display (HUD), traction control, a 360-degree camera switch, headlight leveler, and an idle start/stop switch.

The car features a large steering wheel with a grey finish. The automatic variant includes paddle shifters. Controls for automatic headlamps and wipers are on the steering column. The instrument cluster is analog, showing an RPM meter, a speedometer up to 220 km/h, a fuel gauge, and a temperature gauge. A digital screen within the cluster provides various information like driving time, idle stop time, clock, motion torque, power, brake acceleration, micro-hybrid system details (battery), trip meter, average mileage, range, and ODO.

The dashboard includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and AUX connectivity. It also displays mileage and range. A button for the 360-degree camera provides a clear view, and the reverse parking camera also offers good quality with side view and zoom options. The audio system comprises four speakers and tweeters. Other features include a hazard light switch, AC vents, and a fully automatic climate control system. A wireless charging pad is conveniently placed, alongside a 12V charging outlet and a USB port. The car is available with automatic or manual transmission options. It also has a sliding armrest with some storage space.

Further interior highlights include six airbags in the top model, ambient lighting in the doors, an auto-dimming IRVM, a cooled glove box, a sunglass holder, yellow interior lights, and a microphone. An electric sunroof is available from the second top model onwards. The sun visor includes a vanity mirror with a light, and there’s also a ticket holder.

Practicality and Storage

The car offers a large boot space of 328 liters. It also includes a boot light and a hook. The rear seats can be folded in a 60:40 split ratio. A removable parcel tray is provided. The spare wheel, a normal steel rim, is 16 inches, the same size as the main wheels, showing no cost cutting. However, in the CNG variant, the boot space will be less due to the placement of the CNG tank.

Performance and Safety

Engine Specifications This car is available with a petrol-only option. It is powered by a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine. This engine produces 10 BHP of power and 137 Nm of torque. It delivers an approximate mileage of 20 kmpl.

Safety Features Safety features include ABS with EBD, six airbags, reverse parking sensors, a reverse parking camera, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), a 360-degree camera, a speed alert system, and hill assist.

Pricing and Overall Value

The top model, Zxi+ Automatic, has an ex-showroom price of ₹13,98,000. The on-road price is approximately ₹15,70,000. This car stands out with its muscular looks, low maintenance, and good mileage. It also boasts a strong resale value. While build quality was a past concern, previous versions received a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.
