Discover the Feature-Packed Compact Car

This article explores a compact car designed for a modern driving experience, offering a blend of style, comfort, and safety. From its muscular exterior to its tech-rich interior, this vehicle aims to impress.

Striking Exterior Design

The car boasts a robust and appealing exterior. It features yellow projector headlamps and a bold front look, though white LED lights are not available. The lower grille is finished in black, complemented by a large, muscular skid plate that adds to its rugged appearance. For practicality, it includes a towing option at the front. The ground clearance stands at a comfortable 185 mm, making it suitable for varied terrains.

On the roof, you’ll find a practical sunroof and stylish gloss black roof rails. The side mirrors are dual-tone, include integrated turn indicators, and offer an auto-fold feature. The car rides on 15-inch stylish steel rims. At the rear, it sports a high-mount stop lamp and a gloss black spoiler that seamlessly connects to the roof rails. The “Exter” badging is visible, along with two reverse parking sensors and reflectors integrated into the bumper. A large skid plate and a towing hook are also present at the back.

Spacious and Smart Interior

Step inside to a dual-tone dashboard that offers a premium feel. The car provides a generous 391 liters of boot space, which is ample for your luggage and can be expanded as the rear seats are 100% foldable. A 14-inch steel spare wheel is provided, along with a jack and tool kit.

The door trims are all black, featuring power window controls, door openers, speakers, and bottle holders. Rear passengers benefit from large rear AC vents and a 12V charging outlet, ensuring comfort on every journey. All headrests are adjustable, and three-point seatbelts are available for all rear passengers. While there isn’t a rear armrest, the seating provides average legroom and thigh support.

Advanced Technology and Comfort

The cabin is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, similar to other popular models, offering touch controls and connectivity. For climate control, the car features a fully automatic system. Charging options include a Type-C USB port, a Type-A USB port, and a 12V charging outlet. Higher variants may also offer a wireless charging pad.

The driver gets a digital instrument cluster that displays essential information like trip details, average mileage, range, fuel gauge, and temperature. A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is also a part of the package, enhancing driving safety. The car comes with an electric sunroof, which is of a normal size, allowing light and air into the cabin.

Performance and Efficiency

This car is available with different engine options. The petrol variant delivers 82 BHP of power and 114 Nm of torque, offering a mileage of approximately 19-20 kmpl. For those seeking higher fuel efficiency, a CNG variant is available, providing 68 BHP of power and 95 Nm of torque, with an impressive mileage of around 27 kmpl. It is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission.

The fuel tank capacity is 37 liters for the petrol model. The CNG variant will naturally have slightly less boot space due to the placement of the CNG tank.

Safety and Dimensions

Safety is a key highlight, as this car offers six airbags as a standard feature across all variants. Additional safety features include ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, a reverse parking camera, a speed alert system, and traction control.

In terms of dimensions, the car measures 3815 mm in length, 1710 mm in width, and 1631 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2450 mm.

Variants and Pricing

The petrol ‘S’ variant is priced around ₹8 lakhs (ex-showroom) and approximately ₹9.35 lakhs (on-road in Lucknow). The CNG variant typically sees about a ₹1 lakh difference in price.

The car is available in several color options, including White, Khaki, Blue, Red, Grey, and Starry Night.

Feature Comparison

When compared to its competitors, this car offers several advantages like six standard airbags, rear AC vents, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). However, other vehicles might offer 16-inch alloy wheels in their top models or include fog lamps, which are not present in this car. Every vehicle has its own set of advantages and disadvantages, catering to different preferences.
