Pricing Details

The base model of the Sonet starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹8 lakhs. If you choose the Gravity Edition with a petrol engine, it will cost ₹10,50,000 ex-showroom. The approximate on-road price for this variant is around ₹12,10,000.

Smart Key and Front Styling

The Kia Sonet Gravity Edition comes with a smart key featuring the Kia brand logo. This key includes buttons for locking, unlocking, and opening the boot.

From the front, the car looks very impressive. The grille has a black finish, and the Kia logo in the center has a satin finish. The front bumper has a silver finish and includes four parking sensors for added safety. The car features LED automatic headlamps with U-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) that also house the indicators. Below these, you will find LED fog lamps. Rear passengers get AC vents with a silver finish, two Type-C USB charging ports, and storage space. The 2500 mm wheelbase ensures good legroom and thigh support for rear passengers. The rear seats have two adjustable headrests and three-point seatbelts.

Driver’s Cockpit and Advanced Features

The driver’s side door trim is similar to the rear, with controls for all four power windows, central lock/unlock, and ORVM adjustment and folding. The seats are leather, in a distinctive blue color, and offer height adjustment and recline adjustment.

Key features for the driver include a push engine start/stop button, traction control switch, a button to turn front parking sensors on/off, and an idle start/stop button. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features the Kia logo, audio controls, and controls for the infotainment and telephony system. It also has tilt adjustment. Automatic headlamp controls and manual wiper controls are on the stalks.

The center console houses a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also displays the reverse parking camera feed with good quality. A switch for ambient lighting is present. Below the automatic climate control, there is a wireless charging pad, a 12V charging outlet, and both Type-A and Type-C USB ports. The car comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, with an automatic option also available. It has two cup holders and a manual handbrake, with storage space inside the armrest.

A notable safety feature in this edition is the dash camera, which records both the interior and exterior of the car and stores footage on a micro SD card. Other interior features include a manually adjustable Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM), yellow roof lights, a sunglass holder, a ticket holder on the driver’s sun visor, and a vanity mirror on the passenger’s sun visor. The glove box provides storage for documents.

Engine Performance and Mileage

The Kia Sonet Gravity Edition is available with both diesel and petrol engine options.

The 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine produces 82 BHP of power and 114 Nm of torque. This engine offers a mileage of 19-20 kmpl.

The diesel engine variant delivers 114 BHP of power and 250 Nm of torque, providing a mileage of over 20 kmpl. The engines are highly refined, so there is no insulation on the bonnet.
