Striking Exterior Design

The Hyundai Venue HX2 diesel showcases a modern and muscular exterior. The front features a new grille, updated headlights with projector units, and DRLs (Daytime Running Lights). The front skid plate in silver adds to its robust look. You will find the Hyundai logo prominently displayed. The SUV offers a good ground clearance of 195mm, making it suitable for varied terrains. Dual wipers and a plain roof are standard, with no roof rails on this base model.

From the side, the Venue HX2 looks premium. It features 16-inch steel wheels (15-inch in petrol variants) with wheel covers. The car has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The tires are sized 215/60 R16. Black cladding runs along the sides of the car. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are dual-tone; they are manually foldable but electrically adjustable from inside the cabin. The A-pillar is black, and door handles are body-colored. The diesel variant requires AdBlue and has a 45-liter fuel tank capacity.

The rear profile includes new silver trim with Venue badging and LED taillights. The badging is integrated within the glass. A high-mount stop lamp and an integrated spoiler are present, along with a shark fin antenna on the roof. The dual-tone rear bumper features a silver skid plate and four reverse parking sensors. Reflectors are also integrated into the bumper. There is no rear wiper or defogger in the HX2 variant.

Comfortable and Feature-Rich Interior

Step inside the Hyundai Venue HX2 diesel and experience a cabin that feels far from a base model. The dashboard features a black and silver design. Key interior features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and Aux connectivity. While the screen displays sensor information, a rear camera is not included but can be added later as an accessory.

The driver gets a fully digital instrument cluster that displays vital driving information like range, mileage, and even urea (DEF) levels for the diesel engine. The steering wheel is tilt-adjustable and includes controls for audio and the multi-information display (MID). A manual AC panel is present, along with two Type-C USB ports and a 12V charging outlet. The car comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Comfort features include fabric seats, though the driver’s seat only offers recline adjustment without height adjustment. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated AC vents and two Type-C USB ports. Headrests are fixed, and three-point seatbelts are available for all rear passengers. There are also options for child seat installation. The car comes with a flip remote key for central locking. Power window controls are available on all four doors, and ORVMs are electrically adjustable. Safety is enhanced with six airbags as standard, along with a spacious glove box and ample storage areas for phones and other items. The IRVM (Inside Rear View Mirror) is manually adjustable, and the roof light is yellow. Sunvisors are plain on both sides.

Powerful Engine and Convenient Dimensions

The Venue HX2 diesel is powered by a 1.5-liter CRDi 4-cylinder diesel engine. This engine produces 114 BHP of power and 250 Nm of torque, offering an impressive mileage of 20-21 kmpl depending on driving style. The engine bay does not feature insulation under the hood. For those preferring petrol, a 1.2-liter petrol engine is also available, delivering 82 BHP and 114 Nm of torque, with a mileage of 18-19 kmpl. A 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine is another option, but there is no CNG variant for the Hyundai Venue.

The Hyundai Venue is a sub-4-meter SUV, measuring 3995mm in length, 1800mm in width, and 1665mm in height. The wheelbase has been increased to 2520mm. The boot space is now more generous at 370 liters (previously 345 liters), providing increased cargo capacity. A 15-inch spare tire is located under the boot floor, along with the necessary toolkit.

Advanced Safety for Peace of Mind

Safety is a priority in the Hyundai Venue HX2. It comes equipped with six airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), reverse parking sensors, a speed alert system, seat belt warning, engine immobilizer, crash sensor, Traction Control (TC), and Electronic Stability Program (ESP). These features work together to provide a secure driving experience.
