Smart Key and Car Models

The Tata Punch comes with a smart key. This key has buttons for lock, unlock, and boot access. It also includes a follow-me-home light feature. The key proudly shows the Tata logo on the back. The Tata Punch is available in four main models:

  • Pure (base model)
  • Adventure
  • Accomplished
  • Creative (top model)

Strong Front Look and Features

At the front, the car features the Tata logo in a shiny black finish on the grille. It has bright LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the sides. The indicators are placed next to the DRLs. The car uses projector automatic headlamps for good visibility. These headlamps are yellow in color, with halogen bulbs for high beam and projectors for low beam. Fog lamps are located below the main lights. The lower grille is black. A chrome part seen on the car is an extra accessory. The car also has a strong front engine and suspension setup. It offers a good ground clearance of 187 mm.

Side Profile, Size, and Wheels

From the side, the Tata Punch shows its sleek profile. It has a dual wiper and washer system. A CNG sticker on the side shows it’s a CNG variant. The car’s dimensions are:

  • Length: 3827 mm
  • Width: 1742 mm
  • Height: 1615 mm

The car features large 16-inch alloy wheels, especially with the Dazzle pack. It also has body cladding for a rugged look. The outside mirrors are electric, meaning they can be adjusted and folded with a button. They also have indicator lights built into them. The 16-inch wheels are diamond-cut alloys. The front wheels have disc brakes for strong stopping power, while the rear wheels have drum brakes. The fuel filler cap is on the side, and the fuel tank can hold 37 liters.

Stylish Rear Design

The rear of the Tata Punch looks excellent. It proudly carries the Tata logo in the middle. A reverse parking camera is also present to help with parking. Below, you will find the “Punch” name badge and an “iCNG” badge, showing it’s a smart CNG car. This Accomplished CNG model does not have a rear wiper or defogger; these are found only in the top Creative model. It does have a high-mount stop lamp for added safety and a shark fin antenna. The tail lights are LED and have a distinct Tata design. Indicators are placed on the sides of the tail lights. The rear bumper is blacked-out and features reflectors with a Tata design pattern. There are also two ultrasonic parking sensors to assist with reverse parking. The car has a strong rear suspension setup.

Smart CNG Boot Space

As this is a CNG variant, it has a unique boot setup. The spare wheel is placed inside the boot. The car uses a twin-cylinder CNG technology, with two 30 kg cylinders placed under a cover. This design helps save some boot space. Normally, the Punch has 366 liters of boot space. Even with the CNG tanks, you get around 200 liters of usable boot space. The boot also has a light and a hook. A parcel tray is included, which can be removed.

Interior Comfort and Technology

Inside, the doors open wide at 90 degrees, making it easy to get in and out. The doors have power window controls, a door opener, a speaker, and a bottle holder. The seats are made of fabric, but seat covers are added as accessories. This variant does not have rear AC vents. It also does not have adjustable headrests or armrests in the rear, which are available in the Creative model. A parcel tray is useful for small items.

From the driver’s side, the dashboard has a dual-tone look with a golden finish around the AC vents. The car features a push engine start/stop button. Controls for fog lamps and lock/unlock are also present. Being a CNG variant, it has a switch to convert between CNG and petrol modes. The front seats are fabric, but covers are accessories. An armrest is available for the front seats. Type-C charging ports are also a new addition. The driver’s seat can be adjusted for height and has a recline option. The car comes with a manual transmission, featuring ABC pedals and a dead pedal.

Enjoy the Sunroof

A notable feature in this CNG variant is the electric sunroof with a gloss black finish. Many people wanted a sunroof in the Tata Punch, and it is now available. The cabin also has white LED lights for good illumination.

Digital Dashboard and Infotainment

Once inside, the dual-tone dashboard greets you. The CNG variant features a full digital instrument cluster. It shows various warning lights, trip information (Trip A, Trip B), audio details, and separate bars for CNG and petrol fuel levels. The steering wheel has the Tata logo and controls for phone calls and the infotainment system. It is tilt-adjustable, allowing drivers to find a comfortable position. Automatic headlamp controls are on one side, and wiper controls are on the other. The dashboard features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless smartphone integration. Below the touchscreen are the AC controls. The glove box is quite large and includes lights and a tablet holder.

Safety First: 5-Star Rating

A major reason people choose the Tata Punch is its strong build quality. It has earned a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. This makes it a very safe car in its segment, giving a premium feel.

Engine Performance and Mileage

The Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine.
