Nexon Pure S: A Top-Selling Compact SUV with Advanced Features
The Nexon has been a top-selling compact SUV for the past three to four months. The Pure S variant is considered the second base model, yet it offers a comprehensive set of essential features. This car provides a blend of modern looks, strong performance, and excellent safety.

The Nexon’s base model starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹8,10,000. Its top model can reach approximately ₹16-17 lakh on-road in Lucknow. Buyers have multiple engine options, including petrol, diesel, and an electric vehicle (EV) variant.
Futuristic Exterior Design
The Nexon boasts a futuristic design, especially after its recent facelift. It competes well with other popular compact SUVs.
The front of the car features an entirely new grille and bumper. The side includes bi-functional DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) that also act as indicators. LED automatic headlamps are available from the second base variant onwards. The lower grille has a blackout finish and a changed design.
The Nexon offers a ground clearance of 208 mm. Rain-sensing wipers are also a convenient feature. A notable addition in the Pure S variant is the electric sunroof, positioned on the roof.

The Pure S variant does not include a reverse parking camera or a rear wiper and defogger; these are available in higher variants. However, a shark fin antenna is present. The rear bumper has a dual-tone finish and includes reverse lights and reflectors. Two ultrasonic parking sensors are provided.
Enhanced Boot Space
The boot gate opens by pressing a button, not from the dashboard. The boot space has been increased from 350 liters to 382 liters, offering more room for luggage. A parcel tray is not included with this variant. The spare wheel is a 16-inch steel rim of the same size as the main wheels, and it comes with a jack and tool kit. The rear seats are 100% foldable, but a 60:40 split option is not available in this variant.

The car is equipped with a digital instrument cluster that displays various information and check lights. The two-spoke steering wheel is illuminated and features a Tata logo, along with controls for telephony, infotainment, and the multi-information display (MID).
