Sleek Exterior Design
From the front, the Honda Amaze looks very appealing. It features a black grille with the Honda logo in the center. The base model does not include front fog lamps. The bumper has a towing option, and the lower grille is fully black. The car offers a ground clearance of 172 mm, an improvement from its previous 170 mm. It comes with dual wipers and a plain roof.
On the side, the car does not feel like a base model. It includes wheel covers, body-colored door handles, and electrically adjustable ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors) that also have integrated turn indicators. The A-pillar is body-colored, while the B-pillar is black. The base model comes with 14-inch steel rims fitted with 175/65 R14 radial tires. For braking, you get disc brakes at the front.
The rear profile of the Honda Amaze features a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine badge. It also has a high-mount stop lamp and a shark fin antenna available from the base variant.
Spacious Boot and Fuel Tank

Inside the boot, you will find a 14-inch spare wheel and a tool kit with a jack and spanner. The car has a 35-liter fuel tank capacity for petrol.
Comfortable and Feature-Rich Interior
The interior doors are finished in black. They feature black door openers and controls for all four power windows, a convenience not always found in base models. The doors also have speaker provisions and bottle holders.
Inside, the seats are covered in fabric. The dashboard includes a touchscreen infotainment system and manual air conditioning controls. A key highlight is the inclusion of six airbags as standard, with airbag branding visible on the pillars. The car comes with a remote central locking key. There’s a storage area below the AC vents and a 12V charging outlet. Rear passengers will find ample legroom, kneeroom, and thigh support for comfortable journeys.
Other interior features include a yellow roof light and an armrest for rear passengers, which comes with two glass holders. All three rear headrests are fixed and designed to provide better support.
Driver Convenience and Controls
The driver’s door features child lock, controls for all four power windows, and buttons for electrically adjustable ORVMs. The driver’s seat is fabric and offers both height adjustment and recline options. Convenience features for the driver include levers to open the boot, fuel lid, and bonnet.
For the CVT automatic transmission model, there are brake and accelerator pedals, along with a dead pedal for comfort. The car also has a traction control switch and manual headlamp adjuster controls, allowing you to set the beam height.
The instrument cluster is a semi-digital type, offering a premium look. It provides customizable display options for information like range, fuel level, and mileage. Headlamp and wiper controls are manual. The CVT model also comes with paddle shifters for an engaging driving experience.
Connected Infotainment and Practicality
The base model of the Honda Amaze includes a touchscreen system. While a reverse camera is not present, the system provides information from the reverse parking sensors. Other central console features include a hazard light switch, black-finished AC vents, and manual AC controls. Below the AC, there’s a 12V charging outlet, a Type-A USB port, and two glass holders next to the CVT gear selector. The glove box is of normal size, suitable for documents. The interior rearview mirror (IRVM) is manually adjustable. Both driver and passenger sun visors are equipped with vanity mirrors.
