The Mahindra XUV300 W4 Sunroof variant is now available. This new model brings a key feature addition to this popular compact SUV.

Exterior Overview

The XUV300 W4 looks strong and broad from the front. It features a large, new grille with the Mahindra logo. The headlamp setup includes normal halogen lights with side indicators. Fog lamps are not standard and are added as accessories. The lower grille is completely black. An engine guard is visible at the bottom of the car.

The car has a ground clearance of 180 mm. It comes with dual wipers and washers on the front windscreen. The roof is a major highlight, as it now features a large sunroof. From the side, the XUV300 W4 looks similar to the previous version, but with the added sunroof.

Standard wheels are 16-inch steel rims with wheel covers. All four wheels have disc brakes. The tire profile is 225/65 R16. Black cladding runs around the wheel arches. The side mirrors (ORVMs) are dual-tone and can be adjusted electrically. Door visors and roof rails are accessories.

At the rear, the XUV300 W4 has clear tail lamps. There is no rear wiper or defogger. A high-mounted stop lamp is on the roof. The rear bumper is blacked out and includes reflectors on both sides. The car comes with two reverse parking sensors. The rear suspension setup is visible, and the exhaust pipe is on the right side.

Interior and Comfort

The XUV300 W4 comes with a dummy flip key; remote central locking is an accessory. Inside, the dashboard has a dual-tone finish. There is no audio system provided in this variant, and it needs to be installed separately as an accessory. The sunroof is a key feature of this variant.

Seats are made of fabric, and seat covers are accessories. The rear seats are wide and comfortable, offering good legroom and thigh support. They can be fully folded down to increase storage space. There are no rear AC vents. Pockets are available in the seats. The roof light is yellow. Rear headrests are fixed, and there is no rear armrest or parcel tray. Child locks are present on the rear doors.

The steering wheel features the Mahindra logo, but this variant does not have steering-mounted controls. The instrument cluster is analog, showing information like trip average, mileage, range, audio details, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). AC controls are located below the hazard light switch. A 12V charging outlet is present.

The XUV300 W4 offers a 6-speed manual transmission. An automatic (AMT) option is also available. Two glass holders are provided, along with a handbrake. The armrest shown in some vehicles is an accessory and not standard. The glove box offers deep storage space.

For safety, the car includes dual airbags as a standard feature. The rear-view mirror (IRVM) is manually adjustable. The roof light is yellow. The passenger side sun visor has a vanity mirror with lights, while the driver side sun visor is simple. Front seat belts can be adjusted for height.

Engine and Performance

The Mahindra XUV300 offers both petrol and diesel engine options.

The 1.2-liter petrol engine produces 108 BHP of power and 200 Nm of torque, with an approximate mileage of 17 kmpl. A 1.2-liter turbo petrol option is also available.

The 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine delivers 115 BHP of power and 300 Nm of torque, offering an approximate mileage of 20 kmpl.

Dimensions and Space

The XUV300 W4 has a length of 3995 mm, a width of 1821 mm, and a height of 1627 mm. The wheelbase is 2600 mm. The fuel tank capacity is 42 liters.

The boot space is 257 liters. The spare wheel, jack, and tools are located below the boot floor.

Safety Features

Safety features in the XUV300 W4 include ABS with EBD, dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, a speed alert system, seatbelt warnings, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). All four wheels are equipped with disc brakes.

The XUV300 W4 is available in various colors, including White, Black, Silver, Red, Aqua Marine, and Grey.

Pricing and Warranty

The Mahindra XUV300 W4 Petrol Sunroof variant is priced around ₹8.66 Lakh (ex-showroom). The on-road price may be approximately ₹10 Lakh. The diesel variant will cost about ₹1.5 Lakh more than the petrol variant.

The car comes with a 3-year, unlimited kilometer warranty.
