Discover the Feature-Rich Hyundai Aura Sedan: Style, Comfort, and CNG Efficiency

The Hyundai Aura is a stylish compact sedan that offers a blend of appealing looks and numerous features. This car stands out in its segment, providing a compelling option for those seeking comfort, performance, and modern technology. It competes well with other vehicles in its class, like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The Aura comes with a reassuring warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometers, which can be extended for an additional charge.

Sleek Exterior Design and Dimensions

The Aura boasts a striking exterior design. The front profile features impressive projector headlamps. While some LED Daytime Running Lights have been removed from the top, the overall front look remains strong. The car has a robust front engine and suspension setup, providing a ground clearance of approximately 165 millimeters. It is equipped with a dual wiper and washer system, and CNG variants feature a specific sticker on its plain roof.

From the side, the Aura showcases elegant 15-inch alloy wheels that enhance its premium appeal. The outside mirrors are electrically foldable, adding to convenience. The B-pillar is finished in a sophisticated matte black, while the door handles feature a chrome finish. A request sensor is integrated into the door handle for easy locking and unlocking. The rear of the car looks particularly good in silver, featuring a large spoiler that adds a sporty feel and includes a reflector light. An exhaust pipe is neatly placed at the bottom, and a shark fin antenna is mounted on the roof.

The Aura measures 3995 millimeters in length, 1680 millimeters in width, and 1520 millimeters in height, with a wheelbase of 2450 millimeters.

Spacious and Comfortable Interior

Step inside the Aura, and you are greeted by a dual-tone door trim and an inviting three-tone dashboard in black, brown, and beige finishes. The seats are made of comfortable fabric, with the driver’s seat offering height adjustment and recline options. The rear passenger row provides ample legroom and can comfortably accommodate three individuals. Rear passengers also benefit from two adjustable headrests, three-point seatbelts, and a rear armrest with two glass holders. For added convenience, a cooled glove box is available from the base model, ensuring your items stay cool.

The boot space is a generous 402 liters, ample for placing small trolley bags and other luggage. However, there is no light inside the boot. The CNG variant of the Aura comes with a single CNG cylinder, unlike some other models that offer twin cylinders.

Advanced Technology and Driver Controls

The driver’s door includes controls for all four power windows, central locking, and the ability to fold and unfold the outside mirrors. The dashboard is home to an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and voice commands. A reverse parking camera provides good quality visuals and clarity, with sensor information displayed on the screen.

Other interior features include a push engine start/stop button, a hazard light switch, and stylish black AC vents. The CNG variant comes with a manual AC system, while higher petrol variants may offer automatic climate control. Drivers can easily control fan speed, temperature, and airflow. The center console provides a 12V charging outlet, Type A and Type C USB ports, and a small storage space for a mobile phone. Higher variants may also offer a wireless charging pad.

The Aura comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, which is the sole option for the CNG variant. Petrol versions, however, also offer an automatic transmission. The instrument cluster displays a car speed meter with markings up to 220 km/h, along with separate fuel gauges for petrol and CNG. The Multi-Information Display (MID) screen shows trip details, average mileage, and odometer readings. Steering-mounted controls allow access to features like the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), door light status, and service interval reminders. Manual headlight and wiper controls are also conveniently located.

Further enhancing the driving experience are a traction control switch, a CNG to petrol converter switch, and a headlight adjuster. For convenience, the driver’s sun visor has a ticket holder, and the co-driver’s side includes a vanity mirror.

Powerful and Fuel-Efficient Engine Options

The Hyundai Aura is available with a bi-fuel option: a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder Kappa petrol engine that can also run on CNG. There is no diesel engine option. In CNG mode, this engine delivers approximately 68 BHP of power and 95-96 Nm of torque. It offers impressive fuel efficiency, with an estimated mileage of 28 kilometers per kilogram for CNG. The petrol fuel tank capacity is 37 liters, while the CNG capacity ranges from 8 to 9 kilograms, depending on the pump’s pressure. The car uses disc brakes at the front and normal drum brakes at the rear.

Safety is a top priority in the Aura, which comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of features. These include:
