The Hyundai Creta introduces its exciting new Night Edition, featuring a sleek, all-black design. This special edition of the popular SUV is known for its comfort, ride quality, and advanced features. The black color of the Night Edition gives it a strong presence on the road.

Exterior Design and Styling

The Creta Night Edition comes with a smart key that includes lock, unlock, and boot unlock buttons. The front of the SUV boasts a muscular and strong look. The Night Edition features a glossy black front grille and a black Hyundai logo. It has connected Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) that also house the indicators. The LED automatic headlights provide excellent illumination at night. The lower grille is also black. Underneath, the front engine and suspension setup are protected by an engine guard. The car offers a ground clearance of 190 mm.

From the side, the Creta Night Edition stands out with its 17-inch black alloy wheels. Red brake calipers add a sporty touch. The tire profile is 215/60 R17. The car also features black cladding and auto-foldable Outer Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs) with integrated indicators. The A-pillar and all door handles are black, contributing to the full blacked-out exterior, unlike the regular Creta which has silver finishes.

The Creta Night Edition comes with a 3-year, unlimited kilometer warranty, which can be extended for an extra charge. Its dimensions are:

Rear Profile and Boot Space

The rear of the Creta Night Edition has a muscular look with connected LED taillights. It includes rear parking sensors and a reverse parking camera. The rear suspension setup and exhaust pipe are visible below. The boot offers a generous 433 liters of space and includes a boot light. The rear seats have a 60:40 split option, and there is a removable parcel tray. A hook is also provided in the boot. The spare tire is a 16-inch steel rim, which is one size smaller than the main tires, and includes the jack and tool kit.

Interior Comfort and Design

The interior of the Creta Night Edition is mostly black. The door trims are black and feature a sun blind, a gloss black door opener, power window controls, a speaker, and a bottle holder. While the interior is black, the roof is beige, which is different from some other cars that have a black roof. The S Optional variant comes with fabric seats.

In the rear cabin, passengers get AC vents and two Type-C USB ports. There is also a small storage space. The legroom and thigh support are good, making for a comfortable ride, thanks to the 2610 mm wheelbase. The rear cabin also has grab handles, hooks, and white LED roof lights. There are two adjustable headrests and an armrest with two cup holders. The 60:40 split seats can be folded to carry more luggage. Six airbags are standard for safety.

Driver’s Cabin and Dashboard Highlights

The driver’s seat belt is height adjustable. The driver’s door handle has a request sensor for easy locking and unlocking. The driver’s door trim is black with controls for all four power windows, door lock/unlock, ORVM adjustments, door opener, speakers, and a bottle holder. The fabric seats are dual-tone and offer height adjustment and recline options. The car features metal-type ABC pedals and a dead pedal. Other controls include the fuel lid opener, bonnet opening lever, push engine start/stop button, IDLE start/stop button, traction control switch, and headlight level adjuster.

Inside, the digital instrument cluster shows various check lights when the ignition is on. The steering wheel has the Hyundai logo and controls for cruise control, the Multi-Information Display (MID), and telephonic/infotainment functions. It is a flat-bottom steering wheel. Controls for the automatic LED headlights and wipers are also on the steering wheel. The digital cluster displays speed, engine RPM, temperature, fuel level, and offers information like Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), current trip details, drive assist features, and range. The steering wheel is adjustable for both tilt and telescopic positions, a standard feature.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The center console features a fully automatic dual-zone climate control system, allowing both driver and co-driver to set their preferred temperatures. The touchscreen infotainment system supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth connectivity. This S Optional variant has physical buttons on the sides of the touchscreen. A reverse parking camera provides clear visibility. Other buttons are for changing tracks, media, radio, and volume.

Below the infotainment system, there’s a hazard light switch, storage space, a 12V charging outlet, and both Type-A and Type-C USB ports. The car comes with a five-speed manual transmission, with an automatic option also available. There are two glass holders, a manual handbrake, and an armrest with storage space. The interior also includes a manual IRVM, a ticket holder on the driver’s sun visor, a vanity mirror on the passenger’s side, white LED roof lights (front and rear), and a sunglass holder. A panoramic sunroof is also available, offering an expansive view.

Engine Options and Performance

The Creta Night Edition offers two engine choices:

  • 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder Petrol Engine: This engine produces 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque. It offers a mileage of around 18-19 kmpl.
  • 1.5-liter Diesel Engine: This engine also produces 115 PS of power but delivers 250 Nm of torque. It is known for its fuel efficiency, offering over 20 kmpl. Both engines are housed under a bonnet with proper insulation, contributing to a quiet and smooth ride.
