The Hyundai Venu HX2 offers both diesel and petrol engine options, each with distinct pricing. The petrol HX2 base model starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹7,90,000, with an on-road price in Lucknow around ₹8,94,000.
For the HX2 diesel variant, the ex-showroom price is ₹9,70,000. The on-road price for this diesel model in Lucknow is approximately ₹10,94,000. This reflects a difference of roughly ₹2,00,000 between the petrol and diesel base models.
Impressive Standard Features
Despite being the base model, the Hyundai Venu HX2 comes packed with numerous standard features. Key highlights include remote central locking, a touchscreen infotainment system, DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), and six airbags for enhanced safety. It also features projector headlamps, electric adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), and a fully digital instrument cluster.
Exterior Design and Dimensions
The Venu HX2 boasts a front profile that looks premium, with a Hyundai logo at the top and chrome accents. While the connected DRLs found in higher variants are absent, the DRLs are neatly placed on the side. The vehicle features yellow projector headlamps and a glossy black front grille, similar to higher-end models, showing no cost-cutting from the front. A grey finish skid plate adds to its robust look. The front engine area is fully covered, and the Venu offers a ground clearance of approximately 195mm.
From the side, the diesel HX2 stands out with larger 16-inch wheels, compared to the 15-inch wheels on petrol variants. These 16-inch wheels come with 215/60 R16 tires and feature front disc brakes. The ORVMs are electrically adjustable, though folding them requires manual effort. The A-pillar is finished in glossy black, while the B-pillar and door handles match the body color. Matt black cladding runs along the lower part of the doors. The Venu comes with a 3-year unlimited kilometer warranty, which can be extended.
The rear of the Venu HX2 features new LED backlights, with only a part of the connected strip illuminating in the base model. It includes a high mount stop lamp and a shark fin antenna. The glove box provides storage for documents. The interior rearview mirror (IRVM) is manually adjustable, and the sun visors on both sides are plain.
