Powerful Engine Options
The Scorpio-N provides versatile engine choices. You can select between diesel and petrol options, both offering manual and automatic transmissions. An all-wheel-drive option is also available, giving you multiple choices for your driving needs. The diesel engine has a 57-liter fuel tank capacity and also requires AdBlue (urea).
Muscular Exterior Design
The front profile of the Scorpio-N is designed to be muscular and aggressive. It features a large, new Mahindra logo on the grille. Indicators are placed prominently, along with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and white LED fog lights. The lower grille is finished in black, complemented by a muscular skid plate. The overall front design showcases the robust engine and suspension setup. It boasts a ground clearance of approximately 187 millimeters. Other exterior features include rain-sensing wipers, roof rails, and a sunroof.
From the side, the Scorpio-N presents a strong and imposing stance. It features prominent wheel arch cladding, chrome door handles, and a side step for easy entry and exit. The vehicle’s dimensions are impressive, with a length of 4662 millimeters, a width of 1917 millimeters, and a height of 1857 millimeters. The wheelbase measures 2750 millimeters. Chrome garnish around the vehicle adds to its premium look, resembling a scorpion’s shape, reflecting its name.
The rear profile is also muscular, featuring a central Mahindra logo. It includes a defogger, a high-mounted stop lamp, and a large integrated spoiler. A shark fin antenna, roof rails, and a sunroof are also part of the top model’s features. The Scorpio-N badging is visible, along with two reverse parking sensors, reflectors, a reverse light, and chrome treatment. A skid plate is present at the bottom, and the spare tire is mounted underneath. The exhaust pipe is located on the right side.
Convenient Boot Space
Accessing the boot is easy with a request sensor. The tailgate opens sideways, revealing a blacked-out door opener in a matte black finish. When the third-row seats are upright, there is still some boot space available for smaller items. A toolkit, including a jack and other tools, is conveniently stored underneath. For more luggage room, the third-row seats can be easily folded flat, offering substantial cargo capacity.
Stylish Color Options
The Scorpio-N is available in a range of attractive colors to suit different tastes. These include Black, White, Red, Gold, Silver, Deep Forest, and Midnight Blue.
Comfortable and Feature-Rich Interior
The interior is designed for comfort and convenience, especially in the top model. The second-row doors feature a dual-tone trim with a coffee color finish and black accents. Door openers have a silver finish, and power window controls are present, along with a speaker and bottle holder. The seats are upholstered in high-quality leather.
The dashboard offers a modern view, featuring a touchscreen infotainment system and automatic dual-zone climate control. Rear passengers benefit from large AC vents with adjustable fan speed, and a Type-C USB charging port. Legroom and headroom in the second row are generous, providing a comfortable seating experience. Grab handles, hooks, and airbags are strategically placed. An armrest is also provided, and all headrests are adjustable.
Accessing the third row involves folding the second-row seats forward. While entry may be a bit tight for larger adults, it is suitable for children. The third row also offers speakers, a white LED roof light, seatbelts, and adjustable headrests. However, it does not have dedicated AC vents.
The front cabin continues the premium feel with matching dual-tone door trims and coffee-colored leather seats. The top model offers electrically adjustable front seats with lumbar and thigh support. A footstep is provided for easy entry. For the automatic transmission variant, the pedals are clearly laid out. Switches for front sensors and headlight leveling are located near the driver’s side.
The instrument cluster includes an RPM meter, speedometer, and a multi-information display (MID) that shows important details like trip information, average mileage, and range. The steering wheel, featuring the Mahindra logo, includes controls for various functions and has a flat-bottom design. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and AUX connectivity. It also displays the reverse parking camera feed and includes a front camera in the top model. The AdrenoX system provides many advanced features, allowing smartphone control.
Below the touchscreen are controls for the automatic dual-zone climate control, which allows separate temperature settings for the driver and co-driver. Other controls include traction control, hill descent control, drive modes, a camera shortcut button, and an SOS button. The automatic transmission lever is intuitive to use. Storage spaces for mobile phones and two Type-C USB ports are available. A manual handbrake, two glass holders, and a leather-finished armrest with storage complete the central console. The glove box is cooled for added convenience. Grab handles are present for easier entry and exit, given the vehicle’s height.
Further interior features include a manually adjustable IRVM, a sunglass holder, white LED roof lights, a microphone, and tweeters. The passenger side includes a ticket holder and a vanity mirror with an integrated light. A normal-sized sunroof is also available, enhancing the cabin’s ambiance.
