Enhanced Performance
The new Turbo GDi petrol engine offers significantly improved power output compared to earlier versions. This car can go from 0 to 60 in just 5 seconds, showcasing its impressive acceleration. The 1.2-liter petrol engine now produces 128 BHP of power, up from the previous 108 BHP. Torque has also increased to 230 Nm, from an earlier 200 Nm. You can expect a fuel efficiency of around 16.5 km/l, offering a good balance of power and economy.
Pricing and Variants
This Turbo GDi car is available in three variants: W6, W8, and W8 Optional. The ex-showroom price for the W6 variant starts at 10,35,000, while the top model goes up to 12,90,000.
Bold Exterior Design
The Turbo GDi boasts a muscular front profile. It features a new logo and a black grille, a change from the previous chrome grille. Red accents, or elements, are strategically placed on the lower grille and elsewhere, giving it a sporty look.
The headlamp unit includes projector lamps for low beam and halogen lamps for high beam, along with a distinct DRL unit and side indicators. Fog lamps are present, and front parking sensors are continued from previous models. The lower grille is black and features a silver-finished skid plate.
On the side, you’ll find “TGDi” badging. The car rides on alloy wheels, similar to those found on the previous top W8 variant, with 205/65 R16 radial tires. Black cladding runs along the sides. The smart flip key features the new Mahindra logo. Glossy black ORVMs come with an auto-fold feature. The A-pillar is also finished in glossy black. Other exterior highlights include a power antenna, roof rails, and body-colored door handles. New color options are available in both single-tone and dual-tone.
At the rear, the car features LED taillights and the new Mahindra logo. A reverse parking camera placement is provided, along with a rear wiper, defogger, and a high-mount stop lamp. The W8 badging now sports red elements instead of chrome, and a silver skid plate adds to the rear styling.
The ground clearance for this SUV is 180 millimeters, and an engine guard is also provided.
Key Dimensions
This compact SUV has a length of 3995 millimeters, a width of 1821 millimeters, and a height of 1627 millimeters. It offers a generous wheelbase of 2600 millimeters, contributing to a stable and comfortable ride.
Revamped Interior and Features
Step inside to experience a completely revamped interior. The dashboard, previously white, is now entirely in a black finish. The seats, which were previously white leather, are now black leather, giving the cabin a more premium and consistent look. Even the door panels have been changed to a black finish.
The driver’s door includes a request sensor, power window controls, and buttons for lock/unlock. Controls for the ORVMs are conveniently placed. The door panels also feature glossy black accents, tweeters, speakers, a bottle holder, and additional storage space.
The driver’s seat offers height adjustment and recline options. The manual transmission pedals are present, along with a traction control switch. The steering wheel features the new butterfly-style logo and is leather-wrapped with silver accents. It includes controls for the infotainment system, telephone, and cruise control, and is tilt-adjustable. The car also comes with rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps.
The center console hosts an 8-inch infotainment system, similar to before, but now displaying the new logo upon startup. It supports navigation, Android Auto, USB, and Aux connectivity, complemented by a combination of four speakers and two tweeters. Other controls include defogger, airbags on/off, hazard lights, trip settings, and steering modes. A fully automatic climate control system ensures cabin comfort. Below this, you’ll find two USB ports, one Aux port, a 12V charging socket, and some storage. The car comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox, two cup holders, a handbrake, and an armrest with internal storage.
Additional interior features include an auto-dimming IRVM, a sunglass holder, cabin lights, and an electric sunroof, which is available from the W6 variant upwards. The glove box offers deep storage space.
The boot space measures 257 liters. The rear seats offer good legroom and headroom, along with adjustable headrests for all three passengers. They can be folded in a 60:40 split ratio to expand cargo space.

Safety is a top priority for this compact SUV, which boasts a 5-star safety rating. The top W8 Optional variant is equipped with 6 airbags, while airbags are also offered as standard features in lower variants.
