Robust Safety and Build Quality

The Mahindra XUV300 boasts a 5-star safety rating, making it one of the safest compact SUVs in the Indian market. It is manufactured in India, a point of pride for its makers. An option with a sporty look is also available. If you prefer that, you can choose it for a better, sportier appearance.

Dynamic Exterior Design

The front profile of the Mahindra XUV300 showcases a broad and muscular design. The model displayed is in White, but other color options include Black, Silver, Red, Aquamarine, and Glaze. The car features the new Mahindra butterfly logo on its grille, which is complemented by chrome inserts. It comes with automatic projector headlights and dedicated DRL (Daytime Running Light) units. Side indicators are also integrated. The W8 variant does not include fog lamps. The lower grille features a black surround with silver inserts. The vehicle is equipped with an engine guard and a capable front suspension setup. It offers a ground clearance of 180 millimeters.

Moving to the side, the Mahindra XUV300 maintains a broad and appealing compact car look. Its dimensions include a length of 3995 millimeters, a width of 1821 millimeters, and a height of 1627 millimeters. The wheelbase measures 2600 millimeters. The A-pillar has a glossy black finish. The door handles are body-colored. The car features disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. It comes with 205/65 R16 radial tires and black cladding along the sides and bottom. All doors feature a body finish.

The rear bumper is fitted with reflectors and four parking sensors. A skid plate is also present, along with the exhaust pipe on one side. The 180-millimeter ground clearance at the rear is noted.

Practical Boot Space

The Mahindra XUV300 offers a boot space of 257 liters. While this might be considered slightly less for its segment, the rear seats have a 60:40 split function, allowing for more flexible cargo space when needed. A toolkit is also included in the boot. For those requiring more boot space and even more muscular looks, Mahindra offers another option.

Comfortable and Feature-Rich Interior

The dashboard of the Mahindra XUV300 features a dual-tone design. This compact SUV competes with models like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Brezza. Its strong safety rating makes it a preferred choice among compact SUVs in India.

The door panels include request sensors, power window controls, door lock and unlock buttons, and space for speakers. The instrument cluster combines an analog speedometer and odometer with a digital display that provides various information, including mileage. The steering wheel, adorned with the new Mahindra logo, features cruise control buttons on the right side and infotainment and telephone controls on the left. Automatic headlight controls are also present on the left stalk.

The center console maintains the dual-tone theme. It houses a 7-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB, Aux, and Bluetooth connectivity. The system also displays mileage and other information, though some suggest it could benefit from an update. The display quality for the reverse parking camera is clear. The car is equipped with fully automatic AC controls. Additionally, there are steering modes and trip controls. The console includes two USB ports, one Aux port, and a 12V charging port. It features a 6-speed manual gearbox and an armrest with storage. A sunroof is available starting from the W6 variant. The cabin also includes a microphone, a sun visor, a vanity mirror with a light for the passenger, grab handles, and cabin lights. The glovebox offers ample and deep storage space.

In the rear cabin, the door panels also have a dual-tone finish and include power window controls and speaker space. The 2600-millimeter wheelbase contributes to good interior space. There are grab handles in the rear. The front seats come with adjustable headrests. While there is no rear armrest, the back seat is comfortable for two adults, with space for a third person though it might be a bit snug.
