This particular car has accessories worth approximately ₹50,000, allowing owners to customize their vehicle right from delivery. The Maruti Swift offers both petrol and CNG options to suit different needs.

Swift VXI Price and Options

The base model of the Maruti Swift starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹6,49,000. The VXI variant, as seen here, has an ex-showroom price of ₹7,29,000. When considering the on-road price, including taxes and other charges, this VXI variant typically costs around ₹8,20,000. If you include the additional accessories, the total on-road price would be approximately ₹8,70,000.

Exterior Features and Customizations

The front of the Swift VXI features the Suzuki logo and a black grill. This modified version includes a red grill element, added as an accessory for ₹399, and chrome garnish, another accessory, costing ₹990. The car comes with yellow projector headlights and integrated indicator placement. Fog lamps are not available on this specific VXI variant. The lower grill is black, and an engine guard is visible underneath. The ground clearance for the Maruti Swift is 163 mm. The car is equipped with manual dual wipers and washers. The roof is plain, but there is an option to get it in a glossy finish.

Side Profile Highlights and Accessory Costs

Moving to the side, the exterior rearview mirrors (ORVMs) and door handles on this Swift VXI are finished in glossy black. These are not standard and have been painted later as part of the modifications. The A-pillar also has a black finish. The car features body cladding, which is an added accessory. The dual-tone wheel covers, in black and white, provide the look and feel of alloy wheels, and these are also accessories. The front wheels have disc brakes, while the rear wheels have drum brakes. The tire profile is 165/80R14, meaning 14-inch radial tires. Higher variants offer 15-inch alloy wheels. The ORVMs are electrically adjustable. This car also has additional side garnish as an accessory. The petrol fuel tank capacity is 37 liters. CNG variants have their nozzle placed on the rear side. The total cost of the various accessories fitted on this modified Swift VXI is ₹50,247.

Rear Design and Boot Space

At the rear, the Maruti Swift VXI comes with standard LED taillights, which are available from the base model. The Suzuki logo is centrally placed, along with the Swift badging. The car includes a defogger and a high-mount stop lamp. An integrated spoiler, finished in glossy black, is an accessory that costs ₹3,490 and adds to the car’s sporty appearance. A power antenna is also present. The taillights house both the indicators and reverse lights. The bumper is body-colored and features four reverse parking sensors, along with reflectors on both sides. While the VXI variant has a touchscreen, it does not come with a reverse camera, which can be installed as an accessory later. The car’s rear suspension setup and exhaust pipe are visible, along with a tow hook option.

The Swift offers a spacious boot with 265 liters of storage, which is excellent for its segment. It also includes a parcel tray and a hook on the side for securing items. The spare tire is a normal 14-inch steel wheel, located beneath the boot floor, and comes with a jack, tools, and a spanner. In CNG variants, the boot space is reduced due due to the placement of the CNG tank.

Maruti Swift Dimensions and Color Choices

The Maruti Swift measures 3860 mm in length, 1735 mm in width, and 1520 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2450 mm. This particular car is shown in white, but the Maruti Swift is available in various color options including Red, Black, Silver, and Grey. The Swift is known for its excellent mileage, reliable after-sales service, and low maintenance costs, making it a strong contender in its segment.

Inside the Swift VXI: Interior Comfort and Features

The interior of the Maruti Swift VXI features an all-black theme. The door trim is black and includes power window controls and a chrome door opener. Speakers and bottle holders are integrated into the doors. The seats are made of fabric. This VXI variant does not have rear AC vents. A bottle holder is provided in the rear cabin. The floor has a slight hump, meaning the middle passenger in the rear might need to adjust their leg position. The car offers good legroom, knee room, and thigh support for a comfortable ride. The headroom is also ample. Grab handles are present in the rear. There are two fixed headrests and three-point seatbelts. ISOFIX child seat mounts are also available for child safety. Child locks are present on the rear doors. The Swift delivers impressive mileage: 24 kmpl in manual, 25 kmpl in automatic, and up to 30 kmpl in CNG variants.

Driver’s Cockpit and Dashboard Tech

The driver’s side features the same black door trim with all-four power window controls, door lock/unlock buttons, and electric ORVM adjustment controls. The chrome door opener is also present here, along with speakers and bottle holders. The dashboard is entirely black. The fabric seats offer good comfort, though only a recline option is available, not height adjustment. The car has manual transmission pedals (accelerator, brake, clutch) and a dead pedal. Levers for opening the fuel cap and bonnet are located on the driver’s side. Other controls include a traction control switch, an idle start/stop button, and headlight adjustment.

Inside the cabin, the all-black dashboard looks premium. The instrument cluster is analog, featuring an RPM meter and a speedometer marked up to 220 kmph. A Suzuki logo appears on startup. The steering wheel has the Suzuki logo in the center and controls for modes, mute, calling, and Bluetooth. Cruise control is not available on this VXI variant. The steering column is tilt-adjustable. Headlight and wiper controls are manual. The cluster displays fuel gauge bars and current mileage, which can be toggled to show range, trip average, and audio information.

The center console features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and USB connectivity. While it supports camera input, a reverse camera is not included and can be installed as an accessory. The screen also displays mileage and range information. Below the touchscreen, there is a hazard light switch and automatic climate control with adjustable temperature, fan speed, and air flow. A 12V charging outlet and a USB port are also provided. There is some storage space for a phone or other small items, along with two cup holders. The car has a five-speed manual transmission, with an automatic (AGS) option also available. A manual handbrake is present, but there is no armrest. The Swift VXI comes with six airbags as standard, located in the dashboard, front seats, and pillars. The glove box offers space for documents and essentials. A manually adjustable IRVM, a yellow halogen roof light, and a microphone are also included. The co-driver’s sun visor has a vanity mirror, while the driver’s sun visor includes a ticket holder. This fully modified VXI variant demonstrates how many upgrades can be added.

Swift Engine Performance and Mileage

The Maruti Swift is powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine, a change from its previous 4-cylinder setup. This new engine significantly enhances fuel efficiency. The engine bay includes the battery compartment and fluid reservoirs, with proper insulation under the bonnet. This 1.2-liter engine produces 80 bhp of power and 111 Nm of torque. It delivers a claimed mileage of 24 kmpl with manual transmission and up to 25 kmpl with automatic (AGS) transmission. For the CNG variants, the mileage can go up to 30 kmpl.

Safety and Final Pricing

The Maruti Swift VXI variant, including the accessories, has an estimated on-road price of ₹8,70,000. For those considering financing, a ₹5 lakh loan could result in an EMI of around ₹10,000 per month over five years. CNG variants typically add ₹1 to ₹1.5 lakh to the price.

In terms of safety, the Maruti Swift is well-equipped. It includes ABS with EBD, six airbags, reverse parking sensors, a speed alert system, seat belt warnings, an engine immobilizer, crash sensors, traction control, and ESP (Electronic Stability Program). These features ensure a secure and confident driving experience.
