The MG Hector facelift is here with many new upgrades. Its starting price is now ₹11,99,000 (ex-showroom), but this is for a limited time. You will see many changes, including an upgraded front grille and new alloy wheels. This article will tell you more about all the details of the MG Hector facelift.

Striking Exterior Design

The MG Hector facelift presents a bold and muscular look with several design enhancements across its exterior.

Bold Front Profile

The MG Hector comes with a smart and premium key that has lock, unlock, and boot unlock buttons. The front grille has a new pattern and design. A big MG logo sits in the middle. The 360-degree camera is placed below the logo. The new MG Bullari Aura Bolt grille looks strong and muscular. It has dual-functional indicators and LED projector automatic headlamps that give great light at night. White LED fog lamps are also included. You will find parking sensor points. The lower grille is black. A radar system and another camera are placed at the bottom. The front design looks very muscular. The ground clearance is around 192 mm.

Dynamic Side View

The car features dual rain-sensing wipers and an ADAS camera on the roof. It comes with a 3-year, unlimited kilometer warranty that can be extended. The electric tailgate can be opened with the key or a request sensor. It offers a large 587-liter boot space. The rear seats are 60-40 foldable, and there’s a boot light. A toolkit is present under the boot floor. You can fold the rear seats flat to create a bed-like space for camping. The electric tailgate closes smoothly.

Driver-Focused Cabin

The driver’s side features a premium, sleek smart key with lock, unlock, and boot unlock buttons, and an MG logo. The car can be locked/unlocked using a request sensor when you are near it. The interior door trim is dual-tone, with leather touch, fabric, hard plastic, and a gray door opener. All four power window controls, lock/unlock buttons, and a child lock are present. Infinity tweeters and speakers, bottle holders, and extra storage are in the doors. The dashboard features continuous ambient lighting with multiple color options. The leather-wrapped steering wheel has an MG logo, telephonic controls, and ADAS buttons. It is tilt-adjustable, but not telescopic. Automatic headlamps and wipers are included. A fully digital instrument cluster shows fuel, speed, RPM, trip info, TPMS, driving time, range, and mileage. The car starts with a push-button engine start/stop.

Comfortable Rear Seating

The MG Hector offers one of the most spacious cabins in its class, with excellent legroom, knee room, and thigh support for a comfortable ride. Rear passengers also benefit from disc brakes. Three adjustable headrests are provided for all rear occupants. A center armrest with two cup holders is available. ISOFIX child seat mounts allow for easy installation of child seats. The rear floor is completely flat, making it comfortable for three people to sit together. Six airbags are present for safety.

The MG Hector facelift offers a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder Turbo Petrol engine. This engine produces 141 BHP of power and 250 Nm of torque. It is expected to deliver a mileage of 10 to 12 kmpl, depending on driving style. The car previously had a 2.0-liter diesel engine, but currently, a diesel option is not available. The battery compartment is larger than in many other cars, aiming for better durability. Engine insulation is also provided under the hood.

Dimensions and Practicality

The MG Hector facelift has a length of 4699 mm, a width of 1835 mm, and a height of 1760 mm. It boasts a segment-leading wheelbase of 2750 mm. The fuel tank capacity is 60 liters. Both the front and rear wheels are equipped with disc brakes.
