Attractive Pricing and Major Savings
Previously, the starting price for the base model of the K Sonet was around ₹8 Lakh. Now, with new GST benefits, it has been reduced to approximately ₹7,30,000 ex-showroom. This means a saving of about ₹70,000 on the base model.
For the HTK Optional Diesel variant, the ex-showroom price is ₹9,93,000. Buyers can save between ₹1 Lakh to ₹1.5 Lakh on this variant compared to its previous pricing.
If you choose the HTK Optional Petrol variant, the ex-showroom price is ₹8,73,000, with an on-road price of about ₹9,90,000. The Diesel HTK Optional has an on-road price of ₹11,21,000 (including RTO, insurance, and tax, but no extra accessories or extended warranty).

Striking Exterior Design
The K Sonet HTK Optional boasts a muscular and strong front look.

Excellent daytime running lights (DRLs) are included, with indicators placed within them. The front bumper has four parking sensors. A towing option is available. The lower grille is black, and there’s a grey skid plate at the bottom. The front engine area is covered from below.

Side Profile: The side mirrors (ORVMs) are electrically adjustable and foldable. They automatically fold when the car is locked and unfold when unlocked. Practical Boot Space
The K Sonet offers a boot space of 345 liters, providing ample room for luggage. A parcel tray is not included but can be added as an accessory. The rear seats can be fully folded in one piece. A hook is available for hanging items. There is no boot light in this variant. The spare tyre is a 15-inch steel wheel, one size smaller than the main tyres, and includes a jack and tool kit.
Thoughtful Interior
The interior of the K Sonet HTK Optional is designed for comfort and convenience.
Rear Cabin: The rear doors have black trim with silver door openers, power window controls, speakers, and bottle holders. Sun blinds/curtains are also provided. The seats are made of fabric. Rear passengers get AC vents with silver surrounds and two Type-C USB charging ports. The legroom, kneeroom, and headroom are spacious for the 2500 mm wheelbase. The rear headrests are fixed, and there are three 3-point seatbelts. An armrest is not present. ISOFIX child seat mounts are available. The floor is slightly raised.
Front Cabin (Driver’s Side): The driver’s door trim is black with a silver door opener. It includes controls for all four power windows, ORVM adjustments (fold and unfold), and lock/unlock buttons. Speakers, a bottle holder, and an umbrella holder are present in the doors. The dashboard is fully black. The fabric seats offer height adjustment and recline options. The footwell includes ABC pedals and a dead pedal. Levers for the fuel lid opener and bonnet opener are provided. Center Console & Infotainment: The K Sonet HTK Optional features an 8 to 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and AUX connectivity. Below the AC vents (which are black with silver treatment), you’ll find an automatic climate control system with a digital display for temperature. There’s no wireless charging pad in this variant (it’s available in HTK+). There is one Type-A and one Type-C USB port, along with a 12V charging outlet. The car comes with a six-speed manual transmission, and an automatic option is also available. Two cup holders and a manual handbrake are present. An armrest with storage inside is also provided. The glove box offers good space but is not cooled. The IRVM is manually adjustable. A sunglass holder is located above. The roof light is yellow. Electric sunroof controls are easily accessible, though the sunroof size is smaller compared to panoramic options in higher variants. A vanity mirror is available on the passenger side, and a ticket holder is on the driver’s side.
Engine Performance and Efficiency
The K Sonet HTK Optional is available with both diesel and petrol engine options.
Diesel Engine: The 1.5-liter CRDi four-cylinder diesel engine produces 114 BHP of power and 250 Nm of torque. It offers an impressive mileage of 20-21 kmpl. The engine bay does not include insulation under the bonnet.
Petrol Engine: The 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine delivers 82 BHP of power and around 114 Nm of torque. The claimed mileage for the petrol variant is 17-18 kmpl.
