The Brezza comes in several variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and the top-tier ZXI Plus.

Exterior Design and Features

The Brezza’s front has a chrome finish and a Suzuki logo in the center. It features a grey grille and yellow projector headlamps, which include indicator placement. This VXI variant does not come with fog lamps, but their housing is present, allowing for later installation. The lower grille is entirely black. The vehicle offers a ground clearance of 198 mm, ensuring a smooth ride over various terrains. It also includes dual wipers and washers. The car comes with a simple key featuring lock and unlock buttons.

Robust Side Profile

From the side, the Maruti Brezza VXI model showcases 16-inch steel wheels. Alloy wheels are available on higher variants like the ZXI. The tires have a profile of 215/60 R16. It features disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The steel wheels are black. A wide, matte black cladding runs continuously from the front to the back of the car. The body-colored ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are electrically adjustable from inside and have integrated indicators. Both the A-pillar and B-pillar are blacked out, adding to its sleek look. The ground clearance remains a consistent 198 mm.

Spacious and Feature-Rich Interior

The interior of the Brezza follows a black and grey theme. This model includes a touchscreen infotainment system and six airbags for enhanced safety. The rear seating offers generous space, among the best in its segment, providing a comfortable experience for passengers. The dashboard features an automatic climate control system. While there are rear AC vents, there is no USB port or 12V charging outlet for rear passengers. A convenient hook is provided for hanging small bags. Legroom, headroom, and thigh support are all commendable, ensuring a relaxed ride. The roof light is yellow, and for those desiring a sunroof, it is available in the ZXI variant. Grab handles with hooks are also present. The rear seats feature two adjustable headrests and a central armrest with two cup holders.

Rear Design and Practicality

The rear of the Brezza looks muscular. It has a large “Brezza” badge in the center and a Suzuki logo. LED tail lights include indicator and reverse light placement. From the VXI variant onwards, a defogger is offered. Other rear features include a CNG sticker, a high-mount stop lamp, and a shark-fin antenna. The rear bumper is black and houses four reverse parking sensors and reflectors on both sides. Although this variant has a touchscreen, a reverse parking camera is not included but can be installed as an accessory.

The fuel tank capacity for petrol is 48 liters. For CNG, the capacity is around 8 to 8.5 kg, depending on the gas level in the tank and pump pressure. The car is available in various colors such as Red, White, Black, Silver, and Grey. A standard warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km is provided, which can be extended.

Boot Space: Practicality with CNG

The petrol variant of the Brezza offers a generous boot space of 328 liters. However, with the CNG tank installed, the boot space is reduced to approximately 200 liters. This space can still accommodate small items, with additional boxes on the side. A parcel tray is not included but can be added as an accessory. The rear seats have a practical 60:40 split-fold option, offering flexibility for carrying luggage. Importantly, a full-size steel spare tire, along with a jack and tools, is provided, ensuring no compromise on utility even in the CNG variant.

Dimensions and Competitors

The Maruti Brezza has a length of 3995 mm, a width of 1790 mm, and a height of 1685 mm. The wheelbase is around 2500 mm. Despite not having a recent facelift, the Brezza continues to sell strongly. It competes with other popular compact SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet. Maruti vehicles are known for their excellent after-sales service, strong resale value, and impressive mileage.

Powerful and Efficient Engine

The Brezza comes with a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine. This is a significant advantage over some competitors that offer smaller engines. The engine delivers 102 BHP of power and 136 Nm of torque. In terms of mileage, the petrol variant achieves 18-19 kmpl, while the CNG variant boasts an impressive approximately 28 kmpl. The hood is well-insulated, and the engine compartment is easily accessible for maintenance.

Safety is a priority in the Brezza, which includes features like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), six airbags, and reverse parking sensors. Other safety features include a speed alert system, seat belt warning, engine immobilizer, crash sensor, traction control, and ESP (Electronic Stability Program).
