Tata Altroz Facelift: A Premium Hatchback Upgrade

The Tata Altroz is known as a premium hatchback car in its segment, packed with many features. This article will cover the updated Tata Altroz facelift in detail, highlighting all the changes and upgrades. This is the 2025 Altroz, specifically the Creative variant.

Exterior Design: Sporty and Modern

The new Altroz facelift looks sportier than before. The front fascia shows it is the new model with a more dynamic design. It features a Tata logo in the center and a full front grille in a glossy black finish. For the Creative variant, a 360-degree camera is included, with its placement visible at the front. The lower grille is completely finished in matte black. The ground clearance for the Altroz is 165 millimeters.

Advanced Lighting and Features

The headlamps are an LED automatic setup, which has been completely changed from the previous model. The DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) are placed at the top and serve a dual function, working as both DRLs and indicators. In the top model, Accomplish, you will also find LED fog lamps.

Stylish Side Profile

From the side, the Altroz features hyper-stylish 16-inch wheels with wheel caps and the Tata logo. The tire profile is 185/60R 16 inches, with radial tires. It comes with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are finished in glossy black, are auto-foldable, and house the indicator placement. The rear profile of the Altroz now features large, connected LED taillights. In the Creative variant, the entire light strip does not illuminate fully; it lights up completely in the Accomplish top model. Six airbags are standard across all models. An option to turn the co-driver airbag on or off using a key is also available. Inside, the new Altroz boasts a premium dashboard view. The new steering wheel is a two-spoke, illuminated, leather-wrapped D-cut design. It features controls for cruise control, the MID (Multi-Information Display), telephony, and infotainment. The steering wheel is tilt adjustable. Automatic headlamp controls and rain-sensing wiper controls are also included. The instrument cluster is similar to what is found in lower variants of the Nexon, while the Accomplish top model offers a fully digital cluster with additional features. It displays RPM, temperature, and fuel gauge bars, along with trip A/B, audio, range, and mileage information.

The center console is entirely new and upgraded. The dashboard features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Galaxy Ambient lighting and an automatic climate control panel. Fan speed and temperature can be adjusted via the screen. The 360-degree camera is available in the Creative variant, offering good quality, and an HD camera is available in the top model. Voice assist for the sunroof is available in the top model. Connectivity options include Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and AUX ports. The AC vents are black. Shortcut buttons for the 360-degree camera are also present. Drive modes are available, and the ambient lighting changes according to the selected drive mode.

The deep glove box includes a light, a tablet holder, and glass holders. Overhead, a manual adjustable IRVM, white LED roof light, and information for the co-driver airbag are present. The passenger sun visor has a vanity mirror, and the driver sun visor has a ticket holder.

Powerful and Versatile Engine Options

The Tata Altroz stands out in its segment by offering multiple engine options: petrol, CNG, and diesel.

  • Petrol Engine: A 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine delivers 86 BHP of power and 115 Nm of torque. It is expected to offer a mileage of 18-19 kmpl.
  • Diesel Engine: A 1.5-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine, an option not commonly found in other cars in this segment, produces 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. The diesel variant is expected to provide a mileage of 20-21 kmpl.
