Key Updates and Features

The 2025 Nexon Creative Plus PS Panoramic Sunroof variant brings new features. You will now find fog lamps, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless charging pad. The car comes with a smart key that has buttons for locking, unlocking, boot unlocking, and follow-me-home headlamps.

This sub-compact SUV is unique in its segment. It offers petrol, CNG, diesel, and electric (EV) engine options.

Exterior Design and Dimensions

The front of the Nexon features a Tata logo and a gloss black front grille. This variant includes a 360-degree camera and two front parking sensors. The dual-functional DRLs work as both daytime running lights and indicators. It has an LED automatic headlamp setup with projector headlamps. Fog lamps are now included, which were not available before. The lower grille is matte black, and there is a skid plate.

The Nexon offers a good ground clearance of 208 mm. It also has rain-sensing wipers. The A-pillar is finished in black, and the roof rails are silver.

The car is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels. It has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The tire profile is 215/60 R16 radial. Black body cladding runs along the sides. ORVMs include integrated turn indicators. A shark fin antenna is at the rear, and door handles are body-colored.

Rear Profile and Boot Space

At the back, the Nexon features connected LED taillights and a Tata logo. It has a reverse parking camera. A rear defogger is now available in the Creative Plus PS variant. The CNG variant also features an iCNG badge and a CNG sticker. It has a hidden rear wiper and an integrated spoiler. The bumper includes reflectors and a reverse light, along with two ultrasonic rear parking sensors. A white skid plate is also present. The spare tyre is a normal steel rim, placed below.

For the CNG variant, the boot space is affected by two twin 30kg CNG cylinders placed below. While the original boot space is 382 liters, the usable space above the cylinders is less. It still includes a parcel tray, a boot light, and hooks. The car has a petrol fuel tank capacity of 44 liters. The CNG tank holds approximately 8 to 8.5 kg, depending on pump pressure.

Interior Comfort and Technology

The interior features dual-tone door trims and gloss black door openers. Rear passengers have power windows, fabric seats, and large AC vents. There is good legroom for rear passengers. The rear has two adjustable headrests and three-point seatbelts. A rear armrest with two glass holders is also available. Child locks are provided on the doors.

The front cabin features a fully digital music system and a large, fully digital instrument cluster. The new steering wheel has an illuminated Tata logo. It includes controls for telephone and infotainment. In the CNG variant, cruise control and drive modes are not available. The steering wheel is tilt-adjustable. Controls for automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers are on the stalks. The cluster displays RPM, digital speed, distance, time, trip, average mileage, range, audio, CNG information, vehicle information, and fuel gauges for both petrol and CNG.

The center console includes a 360-degree camera interface, which is very clear. The infotainment system supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Climate control can be operated directly from the screen, allowing adjustment of temperature and fan speed. Touch-responsive buttons for fan speed, temperature, and AC shortcuts are present. Other buttons include lock/unlock, boot unlock, hazard lights, and fog lamp controls. A switch is available to convert between CNG and petrol. Charging options include a 12V outlet and both Type A and Type C USB ports.

The car comes with a six-speed manual transmission. A wireless charging pad is a new addition. It also has a manual handbrake and a front armrest with storage. Six airbags are standard, with two in the front, two on the front seats, and two curtain airbags in the pillars. The glove box is cooled and offers deep storage with a glass holder and a document holder.

The manually adjustable IRVM, white LED roof light, and microphone are on the roof. The passenger side sun visor has a vanity mirror, while the driver side has a ticket holder. The large panoramic sunroof is a significant new feature.

Engine Performance and Warranty

The Nexon comes with a 1.2-liter Revotron turbo petrol engine. This is a 3-cylinder engine. The bonnet is heavy and insulated. The car is 5-star safety rated.

Petrol Engine:

  • Torque: 170 Nm
  • Mileage: 18-19 kmpl

CNG Engine:

  • Power: Slightly less than petrol
  • Mileage: 26 kmpl

Diesel Engine (optional):

  • Power: 114-115 BHP
  • Torque: 260 Nm
  • Mileage: 20-21 kmpl

The Nexon comes with a 3-year or 1 lakh km warranty, which can be extended.

Pricing

The Nexon Creative Plus PS Panoramic Sunroof CNG variant has an ex-showroom price of ₹13.30 lakhs. The on-road price in Lucknow is approximately ₹15.36 lakhs. The petrol Creative Plus variant would be roughly ₹1 lakh cheaper than the CNG version.

Available color options include a new blue color and the Kaziranga Edition Grassland Beige.
