Engine Options and Performance

The Nissan Magnite comes with a petrol engine option only. You can also choose a retro-fitted CNG option, which adds an extra cost of ₹75,000.

The 1.0-liter, three-cylinder non-turbo petrol engine provides 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. It gives an estimated mileage of 18 to 19 kmpl. If you need more power, you can opt for the 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which delivers 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque.

The front dashboard presents a modern look with a touchscreen and automatic climate control available in this Acenta variant. Six airbags are standard from the base model. There is good legroom and knee room for comfortable seating, and the floor is mostly flat. Rear AC vents are not available in this variant.

Other interior features include a grab handle, a hook, and a small quarter glass at the back. There is no parcel tray in the rear. The rear passengers get two adjustable headrests and an armrest with two glass holders and space for a phone. ISOFIX child seat mounts are also present for child safety. Doors have child locks.

The remote central locking key includes lock and unlock buttons. The dashboard features a fully digital instrument cluster, which is black and white in this variant, with color options in higher models. The steering wheel has controls for mute, calls, and volume, along with a silver finish. It is also tilt-adjustable. Headlamps and wipers are manually controlled. The digital cluster shows RPM, speed, fuel level, temperature, average, range, mileage, audio information, service reminders, and outside temperature.

The 9-inch touchscreen supports a parking camera, USB, AUX, and Bluetooth connectivity, and runs on an Android system. Other controls include a hazard light switch, a lock/unlock button, and defogger controls. Below the automatic climate control, there is storage space and a 12V charging outlet. The car comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, and automatic (CVT and AMT) options are also available. There are two glass holders and a manual handbrake. The glovebox offers deep storage space and a USB socket. A manually adjustable IRVM (Inside Rear View Mirror), a yellow roof light, a microphone, a sensor, a vanity mirror on the passenger side, and a ticket holder on the driver’s side complete the interior package.
