The Nexon stands out as India’s top-selling compact SUV. We are taking a closer look at its second base, the Pure variant, which offers a great mix of style and features. This specific model comes in a sleek grey color, which is a special hero color for the Pure variant. Other color choices include Daytona Grey, Ocean Blue for the Creative variant, and Fearless Purple for the top model. The Nexon Pure boasts a futuristic design and many useful features.

The Nexon car lineup starts from an ex-showroom price of ₹8,10,000 for the base model, with the top model reaching around ₹17 lakhs on-road in Lucknow. This compact SUV offers strong competition to other cars in its segment, such as the Brezza, Venue, and Sonet.

Advanced Safety and Futuristic Design

Safety is a top priority with the Nexon, which holds an excellent 5-star safety rating. All Nexon models, even the base variant, come equipped with six airbags. The Pure variant includes a flip remote interlocking key that allows you to lock, unlock, and activate the follow-me headlamps. A standard key is also provided.

The front of the Nexon features a distinctive Tata logo set within a glossy black front grille. It has dual-functional DRLs that work as both daytime running lights and indicators. Automatic projector LED headlights are included, though fog lamps are not standard but can be added later. The lower grille is blacked out. For higher models, a 360-degree camera is available. The new two-spoke steering wheel features an illuminated Tata logo. Controls for telephony and the infotainment system are conveniently placed on the steering wheel. The steering wheel is also tilt-adjustable.

You’ll find controls for automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. The multi-information display (MID) screen shows various details like RPM, fuel level, temperature, trip meters (A and B), average fuel consumption, and audio information.

The dashboard features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, along with a USB port. While a reverse parking camera is not included, the infotainment system displays a sensor-based park assist view.

Below the AC vents, there’s a touch panel for climate control, allowing you to set temperature and fan speed. Touch-sensitive buttons for boot unlock, hazard lights, and lock/unlock are also present.
