The Tata Punch comes in four main variants: Pure (base), Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative (top model).
The car includes a flip remote key for locking and unlocking, with follow-me headlamp buttons and the Tata logo. A normal key is also provided.
Exterior Design Highlights
The front of the Tata Punch features a glossy black grille with a new, raised Tata logo, distinct from older recessed designs. Instead of LED DRLs found in top models, this variant has parking lights with integrated indicators. The headlamps are normal halogen. Fog lamps are included, along with a black lower grille featuring a Tri-arrow design. The car boasts a ground clearance of 187 mm, which is excellent for a micro SUV.
Color options for this variant include Grey, White, Tropical Mist, and Orange. Top variants also offer Red and Blue colors. It comes with dual wipers and washers.
From the side, the Tata Punch measures 3827 mm in length, 1742 mm in width, and 1615 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2445 mm. It rides on 15-inch steel rims with black wheel covers, featuring 185/70 R15 radial tires. The side mirrors are body-colored, electrically adjustable, and have integrated indicators. The A-pillars are also body-colored.
The doors open wide, up to 90 degrees, making entry and exit easy.
At the rear, the updated Tata logo is prominent in the center. A reverse parking camera is included with this Adventure Rhythm variant. It has “Punch” badging, and the backlights are normal halogen (LED backlights are found in Accomplished and higher variants). The rear bumper features a Tri-arrow design, reflectors, a black finish, and two reverse parking sensors. A high mount stop lamp and power antenna are also present. Rear wiper and defogger features are available only in the top Creative model.
Boot Space and Storage
The Tata Punch offers a generous boot space of 366 liters, which includes a removable parcel tray, a hook, and a boot light. The spare wheel is a 15-inch steel rim, matching the size of the main wheels, and is stored below the boot floor along with the jack and tool kit. For the CNG version, twin cylinders are placed in the boot, leaving about 200 liters of storage space.
Interior Comfort and Technology
Inside, the dashboard has a dual-tone finish. The steering wheel features the new Tata logo and is tilt-adjustable. It includes controls for telephony and infotainment on the left side. The instrument cluster is fully digital, a significant update from previous analog versions. This digital display shows information like mileage (around 17.3 kmpl, with a claimed 18-19 kmpl), trip details, audio info, and drive modes (like City mode).
The center console also has a dual-tone design and houses a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and AUX connectivity. Opting for the Adventure Rhythm variant adds this touchscreen and a reverse parking camera compared to the Adventure variant, for a small extra cost.
Below the infotainment screen, there’s a hazard light switch and black-finished AC vents with a glossy black surround. Manual AC controls allow adjustment of fan speed, temperature, and airflow. Connectivity options include a Type A USB port and a 12V charging outlet. Storage space is available below. The car comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, with an AMT option also available for the petrol variant.
Other interior features include two glass holders, dual airbags (driver and passenger) as standard, a Tri-arrow pattern on parts of the dashboard, and a normal glove box with a tablet holder. The inside rearview mirror (IRVM) is manually adjustable, and a yellow roof light provides illumination. A microphone for calls and vanity mirror on the passenger side sun visor are also present.
In the second row, there are no rear AC vents, but it offers comfortable legroom and knee room for two passengers, along with decent thigh support. Fixed headrests and ISOFIX child seat mounts are provided for child safety. The seats are upholstered in fabric. Child locks are on the doors for added security.

The Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Revotron Petrol engine. This engine produces 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The claimed mileage is approximately 18-19 kmpl. An EV option is also available, claiming a range of 421 km.
