Exterior Design and Features
The Punch EV boasts a muscular design, typical of a micro SUV. It features connected Day Running Lights (DRLs) that flow across the front. You will also find LED and automatic fog lamps for clear visibility. The vehicle comes with a smart key, allowing for remote locking, unlocking, and even boot access.
Charging the vehicle is convenient, with the port located behind the front logo. The headlamps are projector automatic LED units. The lower grille is black, complemented by a silver skid plate. This electric SUV offers a good ground clearance of 190 mm. Other exterior details include dual wipers and washers, and a shark fin antenna. Dual-tone variants feature a black roof and roof rails, and a sunroof is available from the Adventure S variant onwards. The Punch EV rides on stylish 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Charging Your Punch EV
Charging options for the Punch EV are versatile. With the normal charging gun provided, a full charge will take about 10 to 12 hours. For faster charging, a DC fast charger can get your battery from 0% to 80% in approximately 56 minutes. If you choose to install a 7.2 kW fast charger at home, which costs an additional 50,000, your car can be fully charged in about 6 to 7 hours.
Interior Comfort and Technology
Step inside the Punch EV to experience a modern and feature-rich cabin. The dashboard features a dual-tone finish. A large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system is a central highlight, offering connectivity options like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, and Aux. The second top model onwards includes six airbags for enhanced safety. An electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function adds convenience. The automatic climate control system is operated via a sleek touch panel.
For added convenience, a 360-degree camera and a wireless charging pad are available in the top model. The top model also features front ventilated leather seats, while the second top model comes with fabric seats. The cabin also provides two glass holders, an armrest with storage, and a cooled glovebox equipped with a light and tablet holder. An auto-dimming IRVM is included from the second top model. The interior lights are white, and SOS and iCall buttons are integrated. Rear passengers benefit from adjustable headrests and a parcel tray. However, there are no rear AC vents. The boot offers a spacious 366 liters of storage.
Safety and Warranty
Safety is a priority in the Punch EV. It comes with ABS with EBD, six airbags (from the second top model), reverse parking sensors, a reverse parking camera, seatbelt warnings, an engine immobilizer, a crash sensor, and a speed alert system.
The Punch EV comes with a robust warranty package. The battery and motor are covered for 8 years or 1,60,000 km. The rest of the car carries a warranty of 3 years or 1,00,000 km.
