Stylish Exterior Design

The Tiago boasts a modern and attractive exterior. The front features a glossy black grille with a unique design pattern and the Tata logo at its center. It comes with normal halogen headlamps and indicators, with housing for fog lamps as an accessory option. The lower grille is blacked out, and the car offers a ground clearance of 170 mm. From the side, the Tiago looks sleek. It comes with 14-inch Hyperstyle steel wheels (175/65 R14 tyres) that give it an alloy wheel look. The front wheels have disc brakes, while the rear wheels have drum brakes. The ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) are finished in glossy black, include integrated indicators, and are electrically adjustable. The A-pillar and door handles are body-colored.

The rear profile of the Tiago is equally appealing. It features the Tata logo and Tiago badging. The sporty taillights use normal halogen bulbs and include integrated indicators. For parking assistance, it has two ultrasonic parking sensors on the dual-tone (black and white) bumper. A high-mount stop lamp is also present. The boot can be opened using the key or a lever near the driver’s seat.

Comfortable Interior and Advanced Technology

Inside, the Tata Tiago offers a comfortable and connected experience. The dashboard provides a good view, and the car features a touch-response audio system with Bluetooth, USB, and AUX connectivity. Steering-mounted controls are available for convenience. A full digital instrument cluster displays all important information like temperature, fuel gauge, RPM, trip details, and even a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The steering wheel is tilt-adjustable. The car comes with remote central locking. All four power window controls are located on the driver’s door, along with electric adjustment for the ORVMs. The XT variant even offers driver seat height adjustment and recline. The manual AC controls are easily accessible, and there’s a USB port and a 12V charging outlet. The car has two glass holders and a manual handbrake.

For passenger comfort, the rear seats are fabric and offer average legroom and thigh support. There are child locks on the rear doors and 2-point seatbelts. Fixed headrests are provided for all seats. The boot space is a generous 242 liters, and a parcel tray is included. A puncture repair kit and a 13-inch steel spare wheel are also present. The rear seats are 100% foldable, expanding cargo capacity. In iCNG variants, twin cylinders are integrated while still providing ample boot space.

Engine Performance and Fuel Efficiency

The Tata Tiago is powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine. This engine delivers 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, offering a mileage of around 20 to 21 kilometers per liter. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, with an automatic option also available.

For those opting for the iCNG variant, the engine produces 72 PS of power and 95 Nm of torque. The CNG variant provides an impressive mileage of approximately 26 kilometers per liter.

Robust Safety Features

Safety is a cornerstone of the Tata Tiago, evident in its 4-star safety rating. Standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD (Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), reverse parking sensors, a speed alert system, seatbelt warning, and an engine immobilizer. This comprehensive suite of features ensures a secure driving experience.
